### 4/5 — Add Poland

*2023-07-08, version 1.5*

So I was playing this game and it was great! But the country Poland was always occupied by Germany and I want Poland to be in there. So can you add Poland so I can be in that conquest? If you would I would give it a 5 star. Also, my great great grandfather fought in WW1 and WW2

### 3/5 — WWll

*2017-11-01, version 1.4*

Where’s the update for the iPad ios11?

### 4/5 — Good WWII Game

*2016-06-26, version 1.4*

This game is modeled after Axis and Allies, but much simpler. It's still fun to play. Would be a five star game if it had more of the A&A features. Good deal for the price.

### 3/5 — Good, but needs improvement

*2015-08-09, version 1.4*

I enjoyed this game, but there are a few things that could be better. It would be more realistic if you could have different kinds of units on the one country. Having to separate tanks and infantry for example makes the gameplay awkward. The UK relies too heavily on infantry because of this, and is weaker than it should be. The instructions are not very easy to understand, as they have not been translated into English well. I do like how many of the other aspects of the game work, though. (Generals, Marshals, airstrikes, battleships, etc.). At first I thought the method for using the battleships was too simplistic, but it really helps move the game along. I did not like the music, so I just turned it down. I miss the music from my old A&A CD-Rom game. Different music for the different countries would be nice. I don't know where the music came from for this game, but it is not great. To win the game, I had to take over my allies' territories, instead of working with them to fight the enemy. This didn't seem like a good feature. All in all, it was close to what I have been looking for, certainly worth the price, but I hope the maker of the game comes out with an improved version. I'll buy it for sure!

### 4/5 — Great

*2014-08-24, version 1.4*

If this game had multiplayer it would be the best game ever, if it would have local wifi multiplayer this game would have a 5 star all the way, this game is already really fun but it would be 100x better with multiplayer

### 4/5 — Great strategy

*2013-10-25, version 1.4*

Of all the great strategy games that I have this one is the second best of the easy tech games I have. Glory of generals and Glory of generals pacific theater are a little better. However this was the first game of easy tech that I got. It lead me to the second version of world conquer 1945 and to European conquer. This game also lead to start learning about the past and the history of WW2.

### 4/5 — It's fun

*2013-09-17, version 1.4*

Fun game...could be a little more difficult . Should not be able to take an allies territory without problems forming between the two.

### 4/5 — Hours of fun for $2

*2013-07-04, version 1.4*

The game is almost perfect except for that the difficulty doesn't change the difficultly much and the AI never takes empty territories. Other from that its great!

### 5/5 — Great

*2013-06-25, version 1.4*

Amazing strategy game, they should have a world map in WC2!

### 4/5 — Great for killing time

*2013-06-05, version 1.4*

Pretty easy game play. AI allies are mostly idiots and you have to kill neutrals and allies to win. AI allies spend too much time wandering around gathering points squares and attacking neutrals rather than helping in a winning strategy. OK when you play strong countries but when you want a challenge and play China or India for example your strong allies are all but useless. You are better off opening lanes for your allies to get in harms way and then when allies are depleted attack them and take their resource points. Not how real war works I suppose. Also the rules say Artillery cannot win a square and move into it immediately but enemies do that from sea. Also enemies can split their landing force and leave some units at sea while payer must land everyone. This is a bit unfair. The game interface is a lot cleaner and simpler than newer games from Easy Inc. but newer games allow forces to co-occupy a sqaure. Also once you've played a lot you realize it is simply a game of resource management and attrition. There should be a sue for peace option. When you are earning 1,000 points a round and your enemy is earning 400 but has lots of units it takes a while to inevitably end the game with a victory. Lots of fun though overall and worth playing.

### 5/5 — Wonderful Game

*2013-06-01, version 1.4*

Hours of fun!

### 5/5 — Excellent strategy game

*2013-06-01, version 1.4*

Need to keep alert. Easy for hubris to go to ones head. Good balance of logistics, geographic advantage and balance of differs units.

### 5/5 — NEEDS MULTIPLAYER

*2013-04-28, version 1.4*

Add a pass and play multiplayer, Bluetooth wifi, and Game Center multiplayer and this game is platinum.

### 5/5 — 5 out 5

### 1/5 — Horrible die rolling

*2021-04-21, version 1.5*

This game would be truly awesome were it not for the bad die rolling part of it. Please listen to me when I warn you about this. It’s so bad it leads me to believe all these 4-5 star reviews must be fake. The die rolling is so bad it makes the game unplayable even when using the most powerful faction and the easiest setting. Robe SPECIFIC. I lost 15 straight “rolls” actually I’m pretty sure it was higher but I stopped counting. My only regret is that I didn’t make a video. I think I will and post to YouTube so everybody can see that I’m not being dishonest because If I heard that I’d probably be inclined to think it was made up but I assure you I’ve played multiple campaigns and every single one is the same with the die rolls. Also I forgot to mention just prove I know the basics of the game. The computer rolls have constantly and repeatedly beaten me even when troops have all upgrades. General, marshal, and fortress. I’m talking multiple repeated rolls that eliminate all 5 units at a time. When you are on a map location that can be attacked my multiple enemy locations and you lose 5 units 4-5 times consistently it’s impossible to win. I highly recommend do NOT buy this game. Like I said in the beginning IF the die roll issue was fixed this would be a fantastic game but until it is the game is unplayable after the first campaign.

### 1/5 — Not very good!

*2013-01-30, version 1.4*

Overly complicated and hard to use. Waste of money and tie. Avoid if you can!

### 1/5 — It's ok

*2012-08-23*

The game isn't the best strategy game out there, I mean you are unable to make alliances at all, it's just a free-for-all attack everybody. Even in the " historical " campaign isn't very good. Whom ever did the map layout, didn't do a very nice job. Although most of the maps are semi-accurate to those who know little about the Second World War, a few, for example, the north Africa campaign is completely inaccurate. Also, when the dice are rolled, you can easily tell that the game is so very rigged because if you buy all the things to make your army have higher numbers in the dice rolls, even then you numbers like 2 and 3. I do like the free for all in the conquest, but... In historical version,... it is completely stupid. This particular game is not worth the $4.99 I payed for it, in fact it isn't even worth two cents.

### 2/5 — AWESOME

*2013-06-19, version 1.4*

This game is awesome! I love how there is a type of thing in this game that keeps you playing it. I'd be REAL happy if they made the map bigger and add more islands. But it is still awesome even without it. This game is THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

### 2/5 — Pls read

*2013-06-07, version 1.4*

This is your standard strategy game and is quite long and detailed however it is massively flawed. It will rip you off. You will follow its rules but they dont apply properly. You will be beaten comprehensively by lesser units that shouldnt be beating you . There is a problem with the coding of this game. If you want a fair game that sticks to the rules it pretends to have then dont buy this. Really i should give it one star as a strategy game that doesnt play by its own rules its pointless.

### 2/5 — It's ok

*2013-06-02, version 1.4*

Campaigns take way too long it should end when either you lose or retreat. Plus when you win you should automatically get the territory.

### 2/5 — Same thing than European war 2

*2013-05-06, version 1.4*

I supposed you could fight to conquer the world but when you attack one Allie you do not have any response after the "war declaration" so it gets boring when you are fighting one against one and other 5 or 6 countries are not attacking you even you attack them,
I bought it from the game european war 2. I expected an add-on for worldwide action but it is another game equal to the other just changing the map.

### 2/5 — Terrible gameplay only for inexperienced wargamers

*2012-08-05*

The A.I. is beyond stupid... will not take empty enemy territories. No such thing as liberation, so what happens is, you take out a minor nation, and a powerful ally will retake those territories and become more powerful, leading to totally screwed up gameplay. You can take allied territories without incident. STUPID gameplay!!! Dont let the cute artwork fool you, or the ignorant reviewers who say this is great. No serious wargame fan can stand to play this rubbish more than once or twice before it becomes intolerable. I wanted to like it, but i became so irritated over the stupidity of the A.I. and flawed programming that i had to turn it off and delete the app. Want a refund!!!

### 2/5 — Hmm

*2012-01-01, version 1.2*

I don't like the fact that you can't combine arms, can't mix units on the same territory. Not really like axis n allies at all.

### 2/5 — All in all, a bit boring.

*2011-12-03, version 1.2*

As the title says a bit boring. Not enough distinction between units. And visible territorial values, would make the game more interesting.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great game

*2023-04-11, version 1.5*

Can only echo what's already been said. Seriously hooked on this game, thoroughly recommend.

UPDATE
So now after ten years of playing this game I can confidently say it is still every bit as addictive and compelling as the day I first played. To me it strikes the perfect balance of difficulty, depth replay ability and that magical “just one more turn” addictive tightrope that many games lack. I still thoroughly recommend this game and feel it is a must have. There may well be more in depth ww2 simulations available and I have those too but this one works beautifully in it’s own way and I’m grateful.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2015-10-17, version 1.4*

Hours of great battles.

### 5/5 — I really like this game but...

*2015-03-12, version 1.4*

I want a refund just not the best.

### 5/5 — yy

*2014-11-21, version 1.4*

I like it very much

### 5/5 — Game rocks for hours .

*2014-09-25, version 1.4*

I love playing this game it puts you in the mind set of the thing . I feel like general McArthur on his return to the philippines .i like the ease with each roll not all the set this and set that and bla bla bla then go its just set'em up and knock them down the way it should be ..so thank you to the brainy-ack who made this!!

### 5/5 — Great

*2013-12-09, version 1.4*

You like Risk, you'll love this. More territories, differentiated units, special bonuses for each country. Could be faster when awaiting your turn versus comp.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2013-11-04, version 1.4*

This is under-rated by far, and at the low price point it's a steal. If you like Axis&Allies/Risk, grab this app.

### 5/5 — Awesome gameplay

*2013-10-03, version 1.4*

I seriously could play this game for hours, great scenarios, best war-related time waster that doesn't require wi-fi to run.

### 5/5 — Onward and upward to victory

*2013-09-21, version 1.4*

Hands downs a great game. I love being able to have basically axis and allies wherever I go. If you love games of massive troop movements and a sense of glory for living or rewriting history, then this game is just what you need.

### 5/5 — Love it , but could be better

*2013-07-12, version 1.4*

I have all the European and world conquest games , I love them all , what I really want to see is a really detailed (small provinces world map) thanks
