The AI on the same side as you are so overly annoying in this and the later games. The moves they make, make absolutely no sense. They will just randomly take objectives that you’ve been working on for 2 or more turns. I noticed that when I don’t skip over enemy moves, that doesn’t happen, which is frustrating. Overall: 3/5. ### 3/5 — It’s been years, PLEASE BUFF the friendly AI *2025-08-25, version 2.0.1* I’ve been playing this game off and on for literal YEARS, and one thing always stood out to me is that Me the player is forced to do EVERYTHING. Like let’s take 1939 conquest for example. If you’re playing as the allies, then Germany becomes a monster spawning general after general after general, and they take over all of Europe really fast and become almost impossible to stop. But if you’re playing as the Axis, then Germany flops so hard. They spawn a few generals and are able to take some land, but they come to a halt as allied units quickly turn the tide and overwhelm them so easily. It’s unfair. I want actual help. I want to reenact my ww2 simulator with allies that actually pull their weight and don’t leave conquered cities unoccupied for enemies to take without resistance. Don’t even get me started on my allies in scenarios. No help at all. I shouldn’t have to have a max leveled HQ just to win these things. That’s asking for too much. I’m entirely ftp and coming across resources to upgrade my stuff is not that easy. So please, at the very least can you buff friendly AI so they aren’t stupid and let themselves get conquered so easily without much fight? If you do this I will grant you the 5 stars this game deserves because I still enjoy playing it. It’s starts a training useless units in overdrive and has no fuel to run the units and it blocks the map and your movement on it and you can never finish on time. The only way for you to win most missions is to betray your allies and clean the map, by doing so you get more cities more resources and space to move. I understand that the developers need to earn money for their efforts, but we also need to have fun when we pay a lot of money for it. Some of the nations are so weak that within a few moves of the start of the game you are dead no matter what you do. It would be nice if you could remove the time restrictions since they are impossible for many missions. 2.Another thing is the medals ( the most important ones, the one that give you more heath are impossible to get even to buy) no matter what generals you buy the system is rigid that way that it targets them as soon as they are in a range of planes or rockets. And your expense generals are dead before you know it. 3. You can not upgrade cities so some units are impossible to get depending on the nation you start with and by the time you capture a city that produces the units you need the time is up and you have no more turns. The game has potential, but the developers decided to make it that way to only win income without, giving satisfaction to the paying players. I don’t understand why or how other countries can just spawn in the middle of your country. Like I’ll completely surrounded myself with tanks and motorized infantry and then they spawn in it makes no sense. My other gripe is that units will randomly disappear, I had 2 of my aircraft carriers disappear from the gulf of Canada out of the blue alongside over 3/4 of my mainland army that WAS NOT near the enemy, and to clearly show what I mean is that I literally had the closest enemy to me only in china they’re is no possible way for Japan to spawn in Kansas out of all places.
