For example in previous versions we could see the ranking of a country in oil or natural gas proven reserves. But now it’s missing and there is no ranking for many important factors of countries and very few and limited rankings are available! ### 3/5 — Brilliant app. Data needs updating *2024-06-26, version 9.4* Most financial and political information dates back to 2019 to 2021. I needed an app to easily enter random city names to quickly reference country information and other data. This is not that APP. If you work with world wide cities and do not know the corresponding country, this is not the APP. Search function only allows known country names to return results. ### 3/5 — Higher reading level *2019-10-02* It isn’t bad just but it seems like the reading level is low. Once you buy the app initially, everything else is free as there’s no in-app purchases. This app is now wildly out of date and I’ve only just noticed. Do you not get otherwise you will be at least three years and potentially for some countries five years out of date ### 1/5 — Doesn’t boot *2018-06-03, version 8.04* June 3 rd, 2018, I downloaded and deleted this app several times to an iPhone 7 running the most current version of iOS 11. It failed to boot each time. I then tried to contact the app’s tech support via the App Store and was redirected to a defunct website. For instance, did you know Tasmania is a major opiate supplier regulated by the Australian Govt? Really? Map is pretty sparse ### 2/5 — Extremely Tiny Font, No Accessibility Options *2018-06-08* Most applications (especially those which mainly involve reading) have accessibility options for users to toggle the font size. Not only is the font sIze for this app very tiny and non-adjustable but it is also a grey color instead of black, adding to eye strain and a displeasurable user experience. A bummer and a waste of money for those of us who don’t enjoy straining to read. ### 2/5 — Update needed *2014-10-06, version 5.2* Old app design not compatible with iOS7/8 and not relevant database. I just wanted to stop in and give a thank you to the developer because he definitely deserves it! This app is packed full of great information, and you can easily get caught up for an hour learning things you never knew before. It’s the best out there, and contains everything I could have asked for. Very informative and useful. Intuitive interface and very easy to use and read. Great map. It’s simple design is not overcrowded with images, maps, or flags; yet uses them when necessary. Keeps out of your way but can be immersive. The paid version for flag descriptions and no ads is worth it, especially if you’re a flag buff. The ads always kept out of your way though, not at all annoying.
