I played this game on my great grandpa’s iPad and loved it. I never get games that cost money, but my mom let me get sense I loved it soo much. It was the only game I have played sense then, until I realized every time I exit out of the game and reopen it, I can’t go into my file. It says it is not my account and then I have to delete it and restart. I really like this game just it doesn’t save your progress which is very disappointing.

So I just bought this game because I always used to play it and loved it but everytime I tried to access my save it wouldn’t let me and I have seen many people complaining about this but I found a fix and all you need to do is sign out of your Game Center account and it will let you access your save since this game hasn’t had an update for 4 years they probably won’t fix this so this is the only fix I know of I hope this helps :)

I played this game on a computer first when it was out as a CD, found it here years later and had to get it.
The game itself is fantastic, it’s challenging and highly addictive.
However, there have been issues with the game crashing suddenly, but recently it’s started denying me access to any save files. 
Says that it’s an invalid profile selection and that it belongs to (my profile). When opening the app is shows I’m logged in and will even show it in the Home Screen. I haven’t been able to fix it, and if you start another file it will only do the same thing again. 

It would be great to have this fixed because it really is a great game, hope it’s taken care of soon.

The game is wonderful… but there are some issues. The game will not recognize my account after I exit game and play later. It says you cannot access it because it belongs to (my account name) when as the game loads it says “signed in as (my account name)” 
This makes it so I have to finish the game in one go. This is a major issue in my opinion. ( I play on an iPad Air)

However I’ve tried to get a response from the developers to fix the issue of the game crashing for no reason or not opening on world 2. It’s a little aggravating because I love this game but can’t play it. Please respond or fix the issue.

I had played this game for years on a separate device so I decided to buy it on this current device too. Everything was fine until chapter 2 when the game suddenly crashed and closed itself. I successfully reopened the app but to find myself at the save file screen instead of the normal chapter selection screen. When I tried to select my save file it said that I wasn’t the player that owned the save file despite it saying at the top of the screen when I reopened the app that I was indeed the same player. I then closed the app again and reopened it again to find that it crashed again instantly, it did this a few more times before allowing me to access my save file again. This again happened in chapter 3 and as of writing this I have not been able to get back to my save file. Many would argue that it would be easy to get back to where I was but I had gotten OCD on all levels before chapter 3 and I had even done some OCDs in chapter 3 which was hours of work and annoyance. Please fix this if possible 2D, thanks for reading and have a good day.

My brother and I loved this game as a kid. We were so excited playing it, it’s amazing and well thought out. My only problem is every time I try to get back into my profile it won’t work. It just says that account belongs to someone else. So every time I have to start over. Please fix it so I can play

I went into my game and I cannot access my saved gameFiles I could not find any contact information for the developers and I could not get a refund my game will now not work and won’t let me in I cannot access my Save game files because it says they do not belong to me

I played this on the Mac years ago and I loved it. So I got it for my iPad Pro. Same game, awesome action with your fingers instead of the mouse. Playing it thru the levels, .. it crashes once or twice on each level. That is NOT good. Developer please fix it or refund the money. There is no other app running and it keeps crashing. This needs to be debugged on the iPad Pro. Sad.

Crashes upon launch, and when you do get it to work, crashes after a couple of levels. With a successful reboot you have to start a new file too since it won’t let you access your own saves, even if you just accidentally tap the saves icon. You’re locked to playing the first few levels essentially.

Why can I not control the sound? I mean I’m not asking for control on the resolution or anything complicated, I just want to listen to my music while I play, not the game’s. Please direct me on how to turn off the sound, or add this option. This game is so flawless, it’s so fun, I just want to get rid of the sound. Thank you.

This is a pointless game. You simply drag your finger in very limited directions until one fits. There’s very little challenge. Plus the boards don’t fit the iPhone screen, you have to pan around to see it all, very annoying. Seems like it’d be best played on iPad. Save your money.

I would love to give this app a better review, I played it years ago on a different device and recently decided to redownload it on this one. Unfortunately, every time the app closes it goes back to the saved file screen when reopened. I select the game that I have saved and despite being logged in on the same account it says that’s not my game and that I have to start over on a new file. Long story short, you can’t access games once the app is closed (and it crashes on its own frequently) so every time you play you have to start over. Would love if this could get fixed so I can give a better review! It really is a fun game when you can actually play it

Unfortunately, the biggest reason I purchased this game was to be able to have something to keep myself busy while listening to my favorite podcasts. Sadly however, the game refuses to let podcast audio play. Ultimately that means that this purchase was a waste. It’s a good game, but you’re better off getting it on literally any other system, to be honest.

its a good game and a fun physics based puzzle but i rated it only 3 stars because it has a glitch/bug where you make a save file, play and quit the game and when you go back in that save file is now useless because it doesn’t detect that you’re signed in on gamecenter and the save is linked to gamecenter so you cant play without making a new save and starting to the very beginning

Love it. I love this game so much. But buy it for a different platform. A fatal glitch prevents you from opening your save file after the first time you close the app. Unless you plan on playing all in one sitting, don't buy it here.

I love World of Goo. It’s always had a special place in my heart. I originally played and beat it on the Wii, but I’ve had the iOS app on my phone and iPad for a long time.  I recently opened it up on my 13 Pro, and noticed how it’s not optimized for any of the newer hardware. It immediately crashed a few times. The game does not fill the screen at all. I really hope this game gets some attention and is given an update to run more smoothly on newer devices.

I played this game on PC back when it first came out and loved it. Of course it feels right at home on iOS.

I downloaded it to our daughters iPad and she is liking it a lot, however, she did run into a problem where the game started crashing and not letting her open her game save.

If you get crashes or an “invalid profile” error try signing out of Game Center. That is what fixed it for us.

I am very picky about games for my iPad and/or iPhone. This is, hands-down, one of the absolute best games I have ever played. I first got it years ago and keep re-playing it. I want a World of Goo 2. (Developers- please make a new one.) This game is unique and challenging without being impossible. Highly recommend it.

I used to play this at my public Library when I was a kid and now I have it on my phone! I had completely forgotten about this game then one day I remembered it from playing a completely different game and I really wanted to get it so I did and I was so happy about buying it!
