## What is World Of Lifting?

World of Lifting (formerly PR.O) is the workout tracker built for lifters who care about progress, not guesswork. Log fast, beat your numbers and level up, whether you're chasing a bench PR, running a strength program or tracking progressive overload on every exercise.

Every feature is free, for everyone. No ads, no paywall, no subscription.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
• Classes and XP: every workout earns XP. Level up your Atlas and Spartan classes and unlock trophies for milestones and streaks.
• Progress that compounds: build any progression scheme, with your own loads, reps and volume, so every session moves you forward.
• Clear PR tracking: one-rep maxes, most reps and total volume on every exercise, with all-time and program PRs at a glance.
• Fast mid-workout: fewer taps, clearer sets, no clutter.

PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD TRACKING
Go beyond sets and reps. Track progression through weight, reps, time under tension, RIR, RPE and technique. Set exactly how each exercise progresses with flexible progression schemes that fit how you train.

PROGRAMS AND PERIODIZATION
Build multi-phase programs with progression built in. Start from templates for bodybuilding, strength, powerlifting, fat loss and conditioning, or design your own from scratch.

EXERCISE LIBRARY
A big exercise library with muscle targeting, video demos and equipment tags. Create custom exercises for your own setup, and sort them into collections by goal, equipment or muscle group.

HABITS AND APPLE HEALTH
Log bodyweight, sleep, food, water, caffeine, body measurements and more in one Habits screen. Set daily or weekly targets and watch the rings on Home turn green when you hit them. Import sleep, calories and macros, water, resting heart rate, HRV, active energy and cardio workouts from Apple Health, and save your weight, food, water, caffeine and waist entries back to it.

TRENDS AND INSIGHTS
• Bodyweight trend with your rate, goal date and maintenance calories
• Bulking, cutting and maintaining trackers that show whether you're on pace
• Recovery cards for resting heart rate and HRV against your own baseline
• "What drives your best sessions": see which habits line up with your strongest workouts
• Charts, muscle heatmaps, workout frequency, volume and intensity over time
• Rate each session by energy, focus, strength, difficulty and enjoyment

SMART WORKOUT FEATURES
• Time Machine: see your last three sessions of an exercise and copy one to today
• Rest timer with a bell you choose, from Quiet to Very loud, with or without vibration
• Plate calculator right next to the rest timer
• Supersets, exercise notes and post-workout summaries
• Pause and resume interrupted workouts
• Quick-start workouts without a program

SOCIAL COMMUNITY
Share your PRs, workouts, Habits trends and program achievements with the World of Lifting community. Follow other lifters, like and comment on posts, and stay accountable together.

COLLECTIONS AND ORGANIZATION
Sort your workouts, programs, exercises and equipment into color-coded collections: by gym, muscle group, training style or goal.

Whether you're following your first lifting program or running periodized training cycles, World of Lifting is the gym log that grows with you. Download it and start tracking your progressive overload today.

### 5/5 — Highly customizable

*2026-05-13*

There’s a tremendous amount of customization, way more than any other fitness apps I’ve tried, so it really lets you dial in your schedule to fit your needs. Super useful!

### 5/5 — Best workout buddy

*2026-05-08*

One of the most comprehensive workout apps for lifting I have ever seen. Great UI design, easy to use and you can go to great depths in terms of customization.

### 5/5 — Seriously Awesome Experience

*2026-05-06*

I’m actually somewhat new to weight training and needed something to help me understand and track my progress. This app has everything you need for that! Getting to choose your style in the beginning and the xp made working out feel a bit like a game, which helped motivate me to keep lifting. The social features are also great, being able to copy workouts from others and upload your own made it feel like I had community regardless of the gym I go to. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Don’t judge too soon

*2026-04-30*

I will admit, being a rather “seasoned” lifter, it took me a little while to figure out how to get everything entered and configured the way I wanted it.

At first, I wasn’t too keen on it and I was worried I was gonna give it a bad review

I’m glad I stuck with it. Because once you start to repeat your workouts…..that’s when it really shines!

The amount of information it gives you is unbelievable. Way too much for me to go into here. You will just have to see for yourself.

I love this tracker, and I will use it for the rest of my lifting career, and I recommend you do the same.

Just be sure to give it a fair shake before you make your decision, and I think you’ll agree. There’s no app better for tracking your workouts than PR.O

**Developer response:** Many thanks for your review, we are delighted you love it and we will keep the updates coming!

### 5/5 — An app for serious lifters

*2026-03-25*

This app is a great choice for anyone, but especially great for serious lifters. The app gives me the option to enter my program and progressions and has access to workouts and programs by Steve Shaw. I especially like the muscle group heat map as it highlighted a couple blind spots in my training. It’s an intuitive and easy to learn/use platform and it isn’t the same old AI Generated slop we’ve become used to. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Most advanced workout tracker

*2026-03-14*

You would be hard pressed to find a more feature packed app. From custom progression schemes that adapt to your needs, programs, a social feed and more. Oh, and there is xp to gain! Love it

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-03-13*

This is a serious app, nothing else has progression schemes and a social feed that allows copying workouts.

### 5/5 — Best tracker available

*2026-03-12*

I have tried several workout tracking apps and this is by far the best. Looks great, easy to use, and includes many fantastic features that the other overlooks but make the experience of tracking progress much better. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — This app is soooooo coool!

*2026-02-14*

I love this iv been waiting for this app to release on iOS and it is so good I love it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 9.1.0 — 2026-10-28

World of Lifting is now completely free: every feature, for everyone. No ads, no paywall, no subscription.

NEW: CLANS
• Train as a team. The new Clans tab shows a map of clans near you, plus remote clans that train from anywhere.
• Start your own clan in one area or remote, or join one from the map, with an invite code or from an invite in the app. Invite the lifters you follow.
• Every Monday your clan sets the bar: Steady, Push or All-in. Everyone pledges how many workouts they'll do, and every workout you log counts toward the clan's target.
• Every workout that counts gets its moment: a plate slams onto your pledge bar. Keep your pledge and the bar locks out; extra workouts load bonus plates.
• Keep the week and your clan's streak goes up.
• Can't make a workout? A teammate can carry it for you. Away or injured? Sit the week out.
• Your clan's page shows this week's calendar, what's next, last week's result and the clan feed. Mention clanmates with @ to notify them, and reply to a reply.
• The Captain and up to 2 Officers run the clan.
• New to clans? "How clans work" walks you through it in six short pages.

NEW CLASS: OLYMPIAN
• A third class next to Atlas and Spartan, built for calisthenics: pull-ups, dips, push-ups, rings and holds.
• Earn Olympian XP for hard sets, PRs, calisthenics workouts and one-time Feats, like your first strict pull-up.
• It stays hidden until you earn it. Your first calisthenics set stirs something, and finishing the workout reveals the class.
• New art for men and women: Olympian crests, a set badge and Olympian bodies on the muscle map.
• Calisthenics sets now level Olympian instead of Atlas or Spartan, and they count toward your clan's Workout Points.

ALSO NEW
• Simple progressions: build a progression in under a minute. Pick your sets and reps, how much weight to add and your rest, then use it on any exercise. The full builder is still there as Advanced, now cleaner.
• New rest timer sounds: real recordings for Bell (a boxing bell) and Anvil (a blacksmith's anvil), and a new Viking Horn.
• Finished sets look cleaner, and your weekly recap now shows your workouts, sets, time and volume against the week before.
• Habits: log water in one tap, from a small glass to a large bottle.
• With the Halloween theme on, Home, the Clans tab and the clan map dress up for Halloween.
• The app is about 11 MB smaller.

FIXES
• Normal sets are no longer flagged as outliers. Only likely typing slips are, with a one-tap fix on the new "Check these sets" screen.
• Gym math updates the plates right away and remembers your bar for each exercise.
• Progressions: "Add sets" works, editing keeps everything, swiping back while building one no longer closes the app, and RIR, RPE and dumbbell weights come out right.
• Programs: a new workout lands on the day you were filling, workouts keep their planned RIR and rest, rolling programs show every day, and swapping a workout no longer drops it.
• Auto warm-up sets start from the right bar.
• A workout deleted on another device while you train with it now asks whether to keep it when you finish.
• On Android, buttons at the bottom of the screen are no longer hidden behind Back, Home and Recents.
• Settings now shows which theme you picked.

### 9.0.3 — 2026-10-19

NEW
• With the Halloween theme on, Home shows a Halloween gym in the background and a glowing jack-o'-lantern in the corner.

FIXES
• With the Halloween theme on and your phone in light mode, the app no longer opens with a mix of light and Halloween colours.

### 9.0.2 — 2026-10-19

NEW: HALLOWEEN THEME
• Finish a workout in October to unlock a dark, orange Halloween theme.
• Turn it on from Home or in Settings. The Home tab turns into a ghost.
• It's yours to keep, even after October.

### 9.0.1 — 2026-10-16

World of Lifting is now completely free: every feature, for everyone. No ads, no paywall, no subscription.

NEW
• Push notifications are back. When someone you follow posts a workout, you get one notification with their new PRs. Workouts they don't post stay private.
• Posting just your PR screens after a workout notifies your followers too.
• PR alerts show the workout, how many PRs and the lifts.
• Like a post right from your notifications: tap the thumb.
• A loudness slider for the rest timer bell, from Off to Very loud, plus a separate Vibrate switch: sound, vibration, both or neither.
• The plate calculator sits next to the rest timer while you type a weight, and opens for that set.
• The exercise builder puts a check mark next to every detail you've filled in, so you can see at a glance what's still needed.
• Habit rings and target bars show how you're doing for the time of day: green when you're on pace, then yellow, orange and red the further behind you are. Limits like caffeine stay green until you go over.
• Habit tiles line up in even columns on Home and in the habits list, and long names get wider tiles instead of being cut off.

FIXES
• Deleting your account now removes everything linked to it, including your comments, likes, poll votes, follows, notifications and photos.
• If deleting your account needs you to sign in again, the app asks you right there and finishes the deletion. A deletion that doesn't go through no longer resets your settings.
• You can tap the "Delete my account" text, not just the red button.
• Sharing a finished workout from its summary notifies your followers again.
• A weight typed just before moving to the next set is no longer lost.
• Short notification lines sit next to the picture instead of floating in the middle of the row.
• Habits show the right icons for Sleep, Resting Heart Rate, HRV, Active Energy, Calories and Cardio.

### 9.0.0 — 2026-10-13

World of Lifting is now completely free: every feature, for everyone. No ads, no paywall, no subscription.

NEW
• Habits: one place to log, set targets and see trends. It replaces Daily Tags and is open to everyone.
• Targets for any habit, daily or days per week, with rings on Home that turn green when you hit them.
• Trends: your bodyweight rate, goal date and maintenance calories, plus streaks, history and charts for every habit.
• "What drives your best sessions" shows which habits line up with your strongest workouts, and PR cards show what drives each lift.
• Rate Your Workout compares the session with your normal, next to last night's sleep and your recent protein.
• Apple Health: import sleep, calories and macros, water, resting heart rate, HRV, active energy and workouts, and save your weight, food, water, caffeine and waist entries back to Apple Health.
• Recovery cards for resting heart rate and HRV against your own baseline.
• Your health data on Home, next to the heatmap, with a Last 7 days / Today / Program switch.
• Bulking, cutting and maintaining trackers that show whether your bodyweight is on pace.
• Share your weekly Habits recap or your Trends as a post. Your bodyweight stays hidden unless you choose to show it.
• A Coffee habit, your own habit icons, and tape-measure pictures for body measurements.
• A redesigned set card with effort colours and a new Set details sheet. Effort can be left "Not rated", and RIR 0 now counts.
• A redesigned Workout Complete screen: one big XP score, with each class levelling up in turn.
• Redesigned Atlas and Spartan class cards that show exactly how to earn XP.
• Redesigned sign-up, sign-in and account setup, with Sign in with Apple and Google.
• More in-app notifications: new followersfrom people you follow, all-time records,
finished workouts and mentions.
• New tutorials for Habits, the workout card and the Time Machine, and a bigger plate calculator button.

FIXES
• Rest and set-timer reminders no longer gorkout.
• "Go Home" at the end of setup works agai
• Atlas workouts now count heavy sets the same way Atlas XP does.
• The Spartan card now correctly says sets count at 70% of your 1RM.
