The matchmaking is worse than it’s ever been, the bugs continue to pile up, and all the developers ever do is to add more features without fixing the game’s core problems. They respond to every negative review with “we’re continually making improvements” or similar, but I’m yet to see them. That’s where the real WarGaming magic happens. In this game, you can practically feel the weight ships swing to turn in the water. Projectiles fly with realistic arcs and randomness. Even the ship’s slight bob on the water is enough to make you seasick. Well maybe not that realistic, but you get the idea. Perfect to play for a couple of battles or to spend an evening where you just can lose yourself. Best played as a team and if you can make friend of a few like minded players not only makes the game more fun but improves your chances of winning. Ships are well balanced and it is a gamble who you get teamed up with but this goes both ways - some you win, some you lose. Great events which are playable are always around. My biggest complaint is the world chat which should be suspended, not unlike other simulator games, there are unfortunately payers who think they own the game that belittle other players who aren’t as skilled as they want and are offensive in comments.
