Then after update. When I open app get update required which takes me to app and open screen. Tried restarting everything including phone and same result. **Developer response:** Hi there - this issue has been FIXED! We've pushed a lot of new features live recently and we're working our hardest to improve! ### 1/5 — POTA *2026-04-10* I initially liked this app and successfully used it three times. However, today after a POTA I have been unable to upload the log or save it. This app, even though it is very easy to use with the keyboard showing both numbers and letters, if it doesn’t let you upload or save the log, you’ve got an app that just waste your time. I’m done with it and as soon as I finish this review, I’m removing it from my iPad, which is in fact completely up-to-date. Do not write me a response since I am absolutely going to delete the app. **Developer response:** Hi KC4X - our team has responded to you over email, it seems like this was just a configuration issue. The app automatically syncs all your contacts to the cloud, and you can manage and export them from the mobile app or the web app. However, you need to wait for your contacts to sync to the online database before doing an export. We recommend logging in to the online portal to make it very easy to manage and export your contacts. Everything is working properly, and we hope we can earn back your 5 star review. Our team is here to support anytime! ### 1/5 — Love it, but... *2025-06-20* I love the interface, there's so much good going on here. But... I've had multiple times where it drops contacts from my logs. Yesterday when I closed my log with 29 contacts, it showed only 2 and then when I opened the log again there were none. Luckily I had wifi and my phone had downloaded the full log (minus one). Bottom line, as much as I love the software, I can't trust it to not just dump my logs. (I probably should have worded that different!). The keyboard has no easy access to the numbers. **Developer response:** Hello - the numbers keyboard feature is LIVE AND AVAILABLE! We hope we can earn your 5-star review since this feature is already available in the app! ### 1/5 — Apple Login not working *2024-08-27* Not able to login with Apple ID. Button doesn’t do anything. Signed up through website with Apple ID but app won’t allow me to login with it. Unable to use the app. Will change review once fixed. ### 2/5 — Slightly better than useless when offline. *2026-08-07* What’s the point of having an app for mobile use when it provides ZERO useful information offline? How is it that every other logging app has an offline callsign but it’s conveniently missing from the “most featured” logging app? If you enjoy POTA or SOTA this app can do two things well when you’re out activating. Show time in UTC, and burn through your phones battery. Don’t expect to see any information on operators or parks while you’re offline. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry for the frustration. The rest of the features look nice, but without that option it’s not very useful to me. **Developer response:** Hi there - this is a reminder that we DO HAVE THIS FEATURE!! I really like the look & feel. But I never realized at the time it was missing an option - QSL Received and Sent fields. I’m not talking about signal reports, I’m talking about being able to track that I sent a physical QSL Card or received a physical card. I love having the cards in hand, call me old fashioned. This logger is top notch, and likely I’ll keep supporting it for a while unless the feature never gets implemented. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for supporting WRL since Dayton 2025! It is so much more than just another ham radio logger. Finally, somebody is building a platform that feels modern, clean, fast, and actually designed around how operators work today instead of how they worked 25 years ago. The app is simple to use, portable-friendly, visually clean, and does not feel like old software barely hanging on. What I like most is that WRL keeps evolving. It feels alive instead of abandoned. Most ham radio logging software looks and feels outdated, overcomplicated, and disconnected from newer operators and modern devices. WRL is moving forward. I activated quite often and have had do much fun using it. On top of that the developers actually listen to thier users, they have live stream sessions going of the features.
