However, many of the recipes are not accurate with the picture or don’t provide full information. For example, the fries recipe under American food is not how American fries are traditionally cooked and won’t produce the result in the picture. For that result, the fries will need to be deep fried twice at different temperatures. The recipe says to simply coat the potatoes in oil and salt and bake them. Then the calamari recipe under Greek recipes tells you to stuff the whole squid with breadcrumbs and feta and grill it, which sounds tasty but won’t produce anything close to the fried calamari rings in the picture. There are MANY inconsistencies like this that show nobody is actually testing these recipes or giving accurate pictures. The Caribbean and African sections are sparse with the Caribbean mostly giving Jamaican recipes and the African giving Northern African recipes. This is a good app for getting ideas but if you are a beginner find the recipes from a tested site. ### 4/5 — Xx *2022-05-17, version 2.1* Too many ingredients and too complex but very good meals. Love that each day new recipes come up so if you don't know what to cook that night I look at this and see and often inspires me. Also ingredients easy to obtain in most supermarkets and not obscure. You have fish in with cakes etc The pictures are either taken from web sites and the recipe doesn't quite match or they are from an armature cook and look bad as well as the recipe being very wrong in some cases.
