HOW DOES THE AI BRIEFING WORK?

Pro members can generate a concise briefing from eligible public news events published during the last 24 hours. Each briefing highlights major developments in a scannable format and is saved to the member's account. AI briefings are informational and are not financial, legal, medical, emergency, or security advice.

WHERE DOES THE NEWS COME FROM?

World Scope News organizes public event data and reporting from configured publisher feeds and established public sources. Coverage may include GDELT, USGS earthquake data, GDACS disaster alerts, CoinGecko market data, and publisher RSS feeds. Every supported story includes source context and a route to the original reporting when available.

WHO IS WORLD SCOPE NEWS FOR?

World Scope News is designed for readers who want a calmer way to monitor international affairs, geopolitical events, natural disasters, market-moving developments, and regional change without a noisy social feed.

FREE ACCESS

Core news reading, feed search, language filters, story details, and the world map are available without an account. Account-based features such as watchlists, synchronized preferences, subscription access, and saved AI briefings require sign-in.

PRO ACCESS

Pro is available as an auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscription. Store prices are shown in the app before purchase. Pro includes AI briefings and other subscriber features described on the in-app subscription screen. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple account settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app.

World Scope News can be opened and used without signing in. Reviewers can access the feed, search, news-language filters, story details, world map, subscription screen, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use while signed out.

Sign in with Apple or Google is required only for account-based features, including synchronized watchlists, saved AI briefings, subscription syncing, notification preferences, and account management.

Pro is implemented as an auto-renewable Apple In-App Purchase through RevenueCat.

Suggested review flow:

1. Launch the app while signed out and open a story from Feed.
2. Open Map and inspect a mapped development.
3. Open Briefing and attempt AI generation to view the sign-in/Pro flow.
4. Open Settings > Manage Subscription and verify monthly/yearly products.
5. Test purchase cancellation, a sandbox purchase, and Restore Purchases.
6. Verify that the subscription screen can always be closed after purchase or cancellation.

The AI client does not call an AI provider directly. Requests are processed through Firebase Cloud Functions. The map does not require user location for core functionality.
