About World Seed is a procedurally generated sandbox MMORPG with roguelike features. The main focus of the game is build-diversity & character progression. "The six gods of the universe battle for singularity and you must fight back to preserve balance." In this game you'll become stronger by crafting & upgrading your equipment or simply roll the dice and hope for some epic loot to drop as you slay enemies. It's a harsh world to survive in, so make sure to bring some friends along when in need of help. Freedom of Choice Your strategy is valid World Seed won't push you in linear line of progression. We believe great games are the ones that offer the player to choose their own path, guided by the rules of the game. Build diversity There are few restrictions on how you build your characters. We're actively working towards keeping most builds and strategies viable. Distance from center There is no traditional leveling system in World Seed. The further from the center you travel, the harder the game gets. Defeating high-level creatures will reward you with equipment of the same gear score. Tier progression The rarity and quality of your items are based on item tier. There are 10 tiers in the game represented by roman numerals. Every tier of an equipment unlocks new tier perks for you to choose from. Infinite World World Seed features an infinite world which is procedurally generated. Its content is renewed every hour. Crafting World Seed offers two methods of crafting: your typical “x materials to craft y,” but also upgrading. Upgrading items in World Seed is done by combining three equal items to a better one, yielding +1 in tier level. Most items in World Seed can be upgraded this way. Literally couldn’t keep the screen up for more than 2 seconds. Painful ### 3/5 — Seems cool *2025-01-24* Only played for roughly ten minutes. It looks interesting and the tutorial was helpful enough. I want to continue playing, however, the cards after landing on a tile are incredibly unresponsive. I struggle to see the info on them with the long hold and can usually only select the cards furthest to the right which really stops my choices meaning much. (Using IPhone XR) ### 5/5 — Game is undoubtedly amazing!! *2025-01-06* I love how the whole time I’ve played the game there hasn’t been 1 ad pop up or any forced ad durning game play. The game is very in depth as far as defeating opponents to gain armor and weapons of higher tier and layer level. The monsters are really cool and detailed as well as the bosses look as dope as you can get. My only flaw is that it is buggy. For instance sometimes I have to reload the game a few times before it can re connect to the server again. In the dungeons sometimes it lets me add my party members in non solos and sometimes it doesn’t so I have to reload. The game has major potential and as a whole is a dream game I’ve always been wanting to play on down times. Trying to click gear to see what it does just equips it, lots of menues to juggle, and upgrading items have the same stats? Why doesn’t a lvl 2 sword do more damage then a lvl 1? I’ll be keeping an eye on this one. Definitely worth playing! ### 5/5 — Easy and Well-Developed MMO *2021-11-30* I think I’ve played and downloaded every PBBG, clicker/idle/browser MMO that can be played. This is what I’ve been looking for. It’s a fully developed world with clean art and music that doesn’t make it feel like a child’s game or some gacha nonsense. Combat, movement, gathering and crafting are all very simple, and the difficulty scales well as you play. I’ve needed something to balance my busy schedule and my love for real gaming, and World Seed is that sweet spot. It’s not pay to win, but does have a $6 paywall to unlock higher tiers. Fully worth it, you won’t get to that point for a few hours of playtime. I’ve paid for this game on Steam, the App Store and browser to be able to support the dev, and will be paying again once it comes out with more updates. Why? Because it’s free and any game this good deserves to grow.
