I have picky kids and would love to be able to filter restaurants based on food served (chicken strips, pizza, funnel cakes, ect). It also doesn’t make sense that when I want to renew my membership why I need to type in card info. I’m logged in. Let me checkmark which passes I want to renew and streamline the process. It’s a good start but they could do more with the app. ### 3/5 — Needed update *2024-07-18* It would be a great additional feature for parents with small children if you are able to mark and save the rides they are able to ride or features you want to see. Then be able filter the map so it only shows only the rides and features you have selected. Since it’s such a big park and there is so much to do this would help with navigating and save a lot of time. ### 2/5 — Super Buggy *2024-05-19, version 8.2.10* The app will not let me log in, no matter how many times I try, and yes I have the right login info. It just glitches and never even accepts that I’ve input the information. ### 2/5 — Tickets, map, wait times—all trash *2023-10-22* Tried several times to upload my tickets to the app and they never do, but given the reviews I've read on here that sounds like a good thing since it's a hassle for entrance employees to retrieve them. Map is only useful for someone who has been to the park before, no location markers. Wait times are way inaccurate. ### 3/5 — wait times & can’t see until in park *2023-06-21* the reviews are right, the wait times are sooo off it’s funny. it says patriot has 5 min wait and there’s a pretty long line, could take at least half an hour. also, it can show what rides are open or closed. nice, but when you leave the park, if you wanna check what rides are open or not.. “times will show when you’re in the park” meaning if all your favorite rides are down you won’t know till you get there and see it lol ### 4/5 — My worlds of fun review *2023-04-22* It was SO helpful! Wait times can be inaccurate but it gives you an idea of how long you’re going to wait. ### 3/5 — Wait Times *2022-09-03* Not sure who or how this app is updated with wait times but; listed 15 minutes for the Patriot and it was 25. Listed 45 minutes for the Mamba but we waited 3 min. When it says 40 minutes it is going to be 1-1/2 hours. ### 1/5 — Unrealistic wait times *2021-06-06* The actual wait times were always twice the predicted wait time on the app. The app was slow to update on which rides were down. The boomerang ride also did not exist on the app. Overall, I’d have to rank this app as an F tier and would not recommend to my friends or family. ### 2/5 — Don’t get the app for wait times *2021-05-29, version 7.36.0* App is fine to store passes, map, general info - but posted wait times are WAY OFF (by like an hour or more). Super frustrating ### 1/5 — We’re they even concerned? *2021-05-25* I get having to do reservations. Whatever it’s the world we’re in. I already bought season passes filled out allll the info retyped 3 separate 20 digit codes instead of it auto generating from the email like every other company under the sun and then EVERY TIME I want to go to oceans I’m gonna have to fill it all out All over again instead of you using the info I’ve already given you??? Don’t waste my time! This app also restarts about every time you go to another screen so you get to do it all six times and I’m on an iPhone 12 max... ### 1/5 — Horrible for Reservations *2021-05-08* You are now required to complete a reservation. Got my passes last year and they are saved in the app. But to make a reservation you you have to re enter the 20 digit pass number for each pass that is already saved on the app. Didn’t get a card so have to write it down or use another phone each time I want to go. A lot of work. It would be nice if the system could see my passes and let instead of having to re enter everything every time. ### 1/5 — The only reason to have an app - ride times - doesn’t work! *2020-08-01, version 7.31.0* One ride was even open and the app said closed ### 2/5 — Reservations are a joke *2020-06-30, version 7.31.0* App is decent. But when signed into my account I had to enter all of the families season passes online. Then again in the app. Now with CV19 reservations it won’t pull my passes and requires me to enter the code from the back of all of the season passes for each day. This is a royal pain. Especially if you don’t have them. Then you have to enter the 20+ digit code. Which took two phones and two apps to achieve this. And we had to enter the season passes into that phone as well. Please integrate your systems. Please be more mobile friendly!! ### 2/5 — Great for the map *2019-10-20, version 7.13.0* Don’t even bother with the wait times, it doesn’t update. The interactive map is good though. ### 1/5 — Wait time 10mins. BS!!! *2019-08-24, version 7.12.0* Wait times are a joke. Not even close. So far only one wait time was within 40 mins of being accurate!!! ### 2/5 — Pain in the pass *2018-12-09* You can store all your season passes in the app, so you don’t have to have the individual cards to carry around. Problem is, that retrieving the passes so you can enter the park, is rather cumbersome. Even the people who work for ‘Worlds of Fun’/‘Oceans of Fun’ have great difficulty retrieving them, so you can enter the park. Same thing for retrieving your prepaid meal passes. You’d think that they would make this access easy. The app that they had last year was much more user friendly. It was obviously designed by someone in an office and not someone that actually uses the park. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unable to see wait times *2024-11-03, version 8.4.5* Unable to see wait times unless you are in the park. Terrible. No other park apps I use have this terrible lack of transparency (e.g. Silver Dollar City or Disney). Also, only app that required me to enter my birthday. Big time Privacy concern. ### 1/5 — Useless aside from map *2024-07-27, version 8.3.3* Even the map is no more helpful than the ones posted around the park. No details of what is served at food locations, most are closed anyway even though it’s July. ### 1/5 — Ticket Purchase Panic *2024-07-19* When you purchase passes it doesn't automatically add the pass to the app. You have to manually type them in or scan the qr codes off a different phone. Added the passes to apple wallet instead so I wouldn't have to deal with it. Thought I had lost my money because the email that had the actual tickets went to spam rather than my inbox. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2024-07-08* Despite repeated attempts and verification codes, this app won’t let me log in, or keeps telling me my password attempts have been exceeded (that was on the first try BTW). I mean how hard is it to get that to work? Apparently Cedar Park Entertainment is the only company in the world that can’t figure this out. ### 1/5 — Upsell A-Holes *2024-06-06, version 8.3.1* After every click is a upsell stop being greedy ### 1/5 — Map Functionality is Useless *2023-09-16, version 7.236.1* The map and directions feature needs updated as the current iteration makes finding destinations nearly impossible. The physical park maps are much better. ### 1/5 — Not useful for navigating *2023-05-20* Mapping is really poor for walking navigation- just a base image with no landmarks labeled. It sometimes routes you through paths that aren’t available to walk . No menus?!? Take a look at how other parks use the platform - it’s truly not that difficult to make a useful app. ### 1/5 — Wait times off by more than an hour *2022-05-30, version 7.214.0* Wait times of 5 mins turn into 90 minutes.
