While the core features are not lost and the overall mission statement is still the same. I don’t know if i’m comfortable with the idea of this app as a service. the features being added while nice i feel impact the simplicity of what the app used to be before the large overhaul. I understand that the dev as an individual deserves compensation and i hope he can provide for himself financially. Then after the worry is over, you can tell the dolls the outcome which is helpful in that not all worries turn into bad outcomes. The dolls may have “bland” responses but they’re there so that your worry is with them. The character limit is annoying, however, I found a way around this. Just type your worry simplified and then after that, click on the doll and click “tell more” and you can rant as much as you want!! Edit: I'm using this 6/14/25 and when I go to my finished worries, I have a hard time swiping through them. When I try to swipe to the right, the dolls would bounce back and I'm able to continue forward to read my old dolls. That’s genuinely insane, I’ve used this app ever since I was in high school and it helped me through so much. I just got a new phone and unbeknownst to me there’s a paywall to transfer my active and past worries. It should just be connected to an account😐 the other whole point of the dolls itself is to see what password you had and what the outcome actually was if there was one. This is insulting. Very disappointed in what was such a good app before. ### 1/5 — Deletion of data *2026-06-10, version 3.5* I used to love this app and write down all my anxieties, the best part was coming back to them years later and reminiscing on how I used to feel and how much I’ve overcome them. Now I’ve come back to the app, completely changed, all my data’s deleted and I have to pay money just to have an account? This doesn’t help me at all!!!! ### 1/5 — Mental Heath Advocates: This is dangerous! *2022-08-26, version 1.2.0* I did not believe this app would help anyone on the edge with serious mental health pain, post-Covid or whatever. Still, I thought this might be “cute.” It was not even cute but worse. It was useless. This app is dismissive of concerns a real person might have and with the complexities of mental health issues from brain chemistry to emotional pain in day-to-day life. I was offended by the blather and bland responses to potentially serious emotional pain. Here are my problems with the app thought. 1. My major problem is the “security” with the password and thumbprint. Yeah it works if you keep that page open but I’ve noticed that if you click the app don’t put a password in go to the home page, go to the index with all your open tabs and click back into the tab it doesn’t stay locked it bugs out and opens the app no password needed. This is my main concern and can hope this will get patched soon!!! 2. I noticed there is a very small character limit for writing down each worry and it’s kinda stressful trying to fit my problems into that character limit and not being able to use many words to describe my more complex worries. ### 2/5 — App not usable-this worried me… *2026-07-29, version 3.5* Looks excellent, I want to try it out but can’t progress past answering the Why Are You Here Today questions at the very start.
