I find their lessons to be very helpful as a worship guitarist. I’ve also had many of my worship peers check it out for their instrument or vocals. Or for learning a song I love just for fun. WA has a huge library of songs—with tabs—and explanations and demos of strumming patterns, tone to dial in, techniques for the lead riffs, etc. Plus, what is a huge help to me, it will transpose the tabs into a different key. With lessons not just for guitar, but for keys, bass, drums and vocals as well. They break down each song to its basics on each instrument and are even adding vocals soon. It wouldn’t work. I sent an email to Bethany who told me on 25 Sep that she would update my account manually. Then 29 Sep I was charged the annual fee and I’m still unable to make it monthly on the website or on the app. **Developer response:** Hi there Mike, we’re happy to resolve the issue. I can listen and learn while I work! ### 5/5 — Awesome app for worship leaders *2020-09-29* With a beautiful and intuitive UI, the worship artistry team have created an incredibly useful product that should be utilized by all worship leaders. Each lesson includes an intro of the song, a cover with a video of each instrument, a break down of the song based on the order of the song, a video for solo acoustic (I utilize that the most) worship leaders, and loops that vary in speed to help you learn. Worship artistry has a plethora of songs, if you can think of one it’s most likely there. The worship artistry team really cares about the worship that’s coming out of there lessons, this is evident through their green room and podcasts. You can even tell this based on the lessons, in the miraculum lesson, Jason understands that not all guitarists cannot play super fast licks, so he provides alternatives for those players. Overall, this is a product that came out of an abundance of love for worship and a burden to empower fellow worship leaders and it’s evident as you continue to use their product. ### 5/5 — Outstanding! *2020-09-29* This is an excellent tool for worship musicians anywhere! I created a playlist but it doesn’t know. I clicked on a song to practice, I’m told that I need a subscription (which I just renewed). I clicked on the link to contact but I don’t have permission to view the page. I’m not sure what’s going on but will appreciate any assistance. ### 1/5 — no support for app, but I love the site *2025-07-28, version 1.07* I can’t use the app, at all and the support page doesn’t seem to Submit. I can login to the site, though WA doesn’t work well on Safari. The playback keeps changing speed/pitch. They auto respond to support queries, but they never respond in person to answer a support question. I hope they’re OK. They keep putting out videos on YouTube and adding songs. But I suspect their support people are gone, hopefully just for the summer. ### 2/5 — Could be better. *2024-02-26* Needs better tools and interface. Good for basic learning of songs. Will try again someday, needs to be able to transpose the play along as a basic feature as well as tracks to mute/solo and create play along mixes. Solid as a basic play along tool, but needs to be better to justify a subscription. It now takes forever to load and anytime I click anything (when I first open the app, click search/favourites/songs/anything) it opens up my web browser to a blank page on addtoany.com. Has become near unusable which sucks because the content is so good but currently is practically not accessible ### 2/5 — iPad tab feature isn’t working. *2021-06-20, version 1.01* Hi, I just got a new iPad to view the music you provide on stage on something bigger than my iPhone 8 screen, and the iPad app’s tablature button is not functioning, sorry to say. I find it’s great to use with great Tutorials, printable TABs and Songs, as well as the Strum Patterns. I can’t use another one because I e found this to be Number One. ### 5/5 — Worship Artistry is the BOMB *2024-02-21* I learned about Worship Artistry a couple years ago through CCLI and it seemed to be a great fit for my churches, small-ish praise team. The work that Jason and the Worship Artistry team do to help teach these sometimes VERY intricate worship parts is fantastic. I use the service every week, including the app. In fact, I probably shouldn’t admit this, but I may or may not have had the app open on an iPad while I was playing drums so I could see the grooves… The only thing I wish I could do with the app is transpose songs, but I understand the limitation since we primarily rely on a chrome extension to do so. The excellent tutorials are well supported by the app’s features (that are more robust than the website), especially the sound and search function. The layout and visuals are very good and allow me to use split-view screen with the sheet music and chord charts in Music Stand. I spent untold hours trying to watch videos, read worship magazines, and examine YouTube guitar tutorials trying to figure out how to develop an interesting, artistic electric guitar parts. The Worship Artistry apps provide complete lessons for the whole band. The teachers are real professionals musicians who provide lesson materials in notation, TAB, video walk-through, etc. It has helped me get ready for rehearsal time more quickly and with greater confidence and satisfaction in the artistry of what I play on Sunday morning.
