## What is Worth The Bite?

Worth The Bite helps you decide, in about 15 seconds, whether a food you're craving right now is worth it to you.

How it works:
1. Pick the food (or add your own).
2. Give one star rating for how much you expect to enjoy it, thinking about taste, curiosity, how rare the chance is and who you're with. Pick a portion size.
3. See two bars side by side: Expected satisfaction and Body burden.
4. Get a non-binding lean -- Likely worth it, Close call, or Leaning skip -- always followed by "Your call." The app never tells you what to do.

What makes it different:
- Two modes: switch the burden standard between "Everyday health" (general nutrition guidance) and "Carnivore" (for a strict animal-based way of eating). Same food, different lens, your choice.
- Every score is explained. Open "How scores work" to see the exact formula and the source behind every burden level -- nothing is a black box.
- Adjustable strictness. Move a single slider to make your own lean more forgiving or stricter; the app remembers your setting.
- Learns your pattern. A while after you eat, the app asks once how satisfying it actually was. People tend to expect more before eating than they feel afterward, especially when hungry, so the app learns your personal gap and gently corrects future estimates.
- Fully offline. No account, no login, no data leaves your device, no ads, no purchases, nothing to manage.

What this app is not:
- It is not a calorie counter, a diagnosis tool, or medical advice. It doesn't diagnose any condition and it isn't a substitute for a doctor or registered dietitian. If you have a medical condition or dietary restriction, talk to a qualified professional before changing how you eat.
- It doesn't track brand-name products or scan barcodes. It works with common foods and general categories, not a packaged-goods database.
- It never says "don't eat this." It shows you two numbers and a lean; you decide.

Who it's for: anyone who wants a fast, honest, judgment-free gut-check before a food decision -- whether you're weighing a dessert after a long day, deciding on a cheat meal while eating strict carnivore, or just tired of going back and forth in your own head.

Not medical advice. Consult a doctor or registered dietitian for guidance specific to your health.
