## What is Worthsy?

Point your camera at anything second-hand and see what it actually sells for.

Not an estimate. Not an AI's opinion. The number comes from real completed sales of the same item, and every one of those sales is listed underneath so you can check the work yourself.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

Most valuation apps ask a language model what something is worth. We tested that approach against real market data: asked directly, the model was right about 3 items in 12. Priced from actual sold listings, the same photos got 5 in 12 — and the misses were far closer. When a model guesses a price it usually guesses low, which is how people end up selling a $3,000 watch for $50.

Worthsy uses the model for one job only: working out what the object is. The price comes from sales that already happened.

Sometimes the honest answer is "not enough data". If fewer than three real sales exist, we show no number at all — a price built on one sale isn't a price.

And when your item looks like a genuine antique or a piece of fine art, we say so plainly: those sell at auction houses, not on the general resale market, and the listings we can find are usually reproductions. You'll see the number and exactly what it describes.
