### 1/5 — ⚠️ Important Warning

*2025-08-20, version 1.2.0*

Worthy Financial’s “Worthy Bonds” have experienced multiple pauses on redemptions and defaults on loan repayments, leading to significant liquidity issues for bondholders. Several investors have reported that bonds purchased as early as 2019 remain unredeemed, with the company citing difficulties collecting from underlying borrowers .

Because of these ongoing redemption problems and the company’s negative equity position, investing in Worthy Bonds carries a high risk of loss.

### 1/5 — Do not trust this company

*2025-05-09, version 1.2.0*

Many people, including myself have money stuck in two of their “offerings” you can find this info on Reddit and other reviews. They ran out of money to pay back the people that invested in them. Don’t do it. Just find a FDIC insured HYSA or just invest in the market. Avoid these junk bonds.

### 1/5 — Don’t invest

*2025-04-08, version 1.2.0*

Don’t invest any money with Worthy. I have had money stuck with them for over 5 years and I can’t get it out. The risk is too high for the potential return they offer. Just stay away!

### 1/5 — It’s a scam

*2024-09-03, version 1.2.0*

They steal your money / my bonds have been unwithdrawable literally for over 2 years now - BEWARE

### 1/5 — AVOID: SCAM

*2024-08-19, version 1.2.0*

I have been waiting 2 years now to be able to withdraw my money and there is no one you can talk to about it. When I use their chat, which is automated, I later get the same canned email that they are working on things and don’t know when I might be able to withdraw my money. Same response over and over.

Avoid at all costs. I learned my lesson and likely lost my money to them.

### 1/5 — Unworthy

*2024-05-10, version 1.2.0*

I had been investing in bonds through them for years until I needed to pull them out, and when I initially invested, I was led to believe I could liquidate at any time, but I went to pull my money out, and it was frozen. This is unacceptable. I will never invest with them again. Period.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2024-03-02, version 1.2.0*

These bonds are scams. They seem legitimate but they have frozen withdrawals (meaning they won’t give you your money back) while concurrently accepting more money.
You probably won’t get the money you put into this back. Better off at the roulette wheel.

### 1/5 — Ok App But Don’t Trust Them With Your Money

*2023-10-16, version 1.2.0*

It was all fine until they froze withdrawals from my account. Now I can’t get any of my money out.

### 3/5 — Cool Product; Bad Interface

*2023-08-26, version 1.2.0*

I really like the bonds - it’s an easy way to regularly save money, and the customer support is very friendly if you have questions. Cashing out is quick and painless too. The problem is the app. There isn’t one. It just opens your preferred internet browser and then you are at a web page. It’s clunky and there is no Face ID. They told me months ago an actual app was coming, but here we are. The kids at the high school down the street learn to create an app in 10th grade. It makes no sense that Worthy still doesn’t have an actual app. 5 stars for the product and customer service; 0 stars for the non-existent app.

### 1/5 — Don’t give them a penny. This is a scam!

*2023-08-16, version 1.2.0*

I was an early investor of the first round of bonds. I thought they were great, until they started having liquidity issues. Now my funds have been locked up for a year with no communication from the company aside from an email on August 22, 2022 stating they were halting withdrawals of the first set of bonds. At this point, I don’t think I’m getting any of my money.

It is unbelievable that they are allowed to advertise that you can withdraw at any time, when that is very clearly a lie. The first round of bonds have clear liquidity problems, and I suspect that later rounds will struggle as well.

### 1/5 — Ponzi Scheme, run away don’t walk!

*2023-07-07, version 1.2.0*

Where do I begin, I have been a loyal Worthy investor for over three years, given them my hard earned money to earn a supposed 5% return (on paper) which I was told was securely backed by “tangible hard assets” from supporting local small businesses. I have paid taxes every single year (the past 3 years worthy has had my funds) for the supposed “5% interest” my bonds were accruing while being loaned out to small businesses. Originally they said bonds could be redeemed at anytime, now though, they have locked all withdrawals and are not paying back the funds that were given to them and they are in complete breach of contract.

So, not only have I lost money on paying taxes every year (on fake earnings they said I received), I do not have access to these funds anymore and they are not paying back my original principal.

This is a scam, do not invest your money with them. They should be criminally charged for this Ponzi scheme they are running.

### 1/5 — STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS

*2023-05-10, version 1.2.0*

Worthy Bonds is holding my s/o’s money and will not release it because they screwed up and loaned it to a ton of small businesses that failed. Now they’re claiming they can’t give her the $10,000 she invested because they don’t have it right as we are trying to buy our first house. DO NOT USE WORTHY BONDS. There’s a brilliant review down on this page from 2 years ago addressing all of the concerns that individual had regarding this company and everything he stated in his post came true.

### 4/5 — Easy to use, easy to understand and paying!

*2023-01-22, version 1.1.16*

I don’t understand any of these negative ratings. The app is easy to navigate, there’s $75million of new bonds available to purchase since late 2022 and I’m still purchasing new bonds as of this review I’m early 2023. The earned interest is clearly posted on my account, WEEKLY! Recommending friends and family to sign up earns free shares for everyone involved too, essentially paying us to use this moderately well paying account that allows my money to sit and grow at a MUCH MUCH higher rate than a bank pays. It’s almost like a savings account on steroids. No fees or charges either. It’s almost like the negative reviews are either fake or done by people that “forgot” the fine print that specifically mentions in the beginning that withdrawals take weeks and will have to be done so in accordance with cash balances and anti-laundering regulations, which take time. This isn’t a piggy bank account that can be accessed instantly like a bank. It’s one of the conditions for that generous interest rate it pays us! Don’t be a Karen or a Kevin, you were happy to get that 5% but seem to forget you have to plan ahead for withdrawals. My only concerns are that we don’t get to see who is borrowing our money and arbitration is mandatory should there be any issues and there’s occasionally app log in issues. That’s it. It’s a great investment vehicle that is easy to start with a measly $10 and pays weekly and easy to navigate with a clear understanding of how much you earn weekly. Very underrated platform. I’m surprised it’s not more popular.

### 1/5 — Can’t log in

*2022-11-23, version 1.1.15*

Can’t use app because the login never works, just keeps saying “there’s a problem” even after multiple updates.

### 1/5 — Can’t withdraw funds

*2022-11-15, version 1.1.14*

They paused withdrawals on 8/22. I find it strange no one else here is complaining. Their first bonds offered defaulted, its highly likely this is a huge loss. How did they get approved for more bonds?

### 1/5 — Absolute worst app

*2022-11-08, version 1.1.13*

I never write reviews, but this app is very aggravating. I’ve never had a more difficult time trying to create an account. The app is basically a link to the website, and you’re prompted to “close” the windows, which you cannot do because it’s an app… So frustrating. I can’t get to the point of linking any accounts because every time I close the app (the only way to close the window), it brings me back to the “create a sign-in” page. Cannot report on the actual company since I can’t give them any money. You’d think it would be more user friendly after 3 years of reviews to fix the app.

### 1/5 — app won’t even open anymore

*2022-04-15, version 1.1.6*

i’ve had my worthy account going on three years now, i think. their app was always trash (basically just a website that clicking the app icon would bring you to) but now it’s just a blank white screen that does literally nothing. the premise behind the idea is great. every-day humans come together to help each other - just like it should be. the execution of this… not so much. i don’t care that they’re not large companies - that’s the whole point. the risk is worth helping our communities. the lack of transparency about the companies, on the other hand….. no. i’ve checked back every couple months for the last year and each time i’ve logged in and try to buy more bonds, i’m met with a page that says they’ve “just sold out of all bonds” but that more are coming and i’d be among the first to find out. well….? the money i originally invested in Worthy Bonds is officially worth less now than the day i put it in. honestly? i think this is a marketing ploy to dupe people into using the service to invest while not actually offering anything at all (including support, an app, or an intuitive website).

### 1/5 — Why is This so Difficult for Worthy?

*2022-04-09, version 1.1.6*

So I am starting to have SIGNIFICANT concerns about this app.

First, it has been over a year since new bonds were offered. All we get is “we’ll add some soon” or “the SEC should be approving us any day now” but nothing EVER happens. Can you please be straight with your customers, this lack of transparency is absolutely ridiculous at this point.

Second, we get this ability to buy property bonds, except we don’t. There is no option to purchase these bonds anywhere in the app. This feature would have at least given your customers SOMETHING to do beyond watching confetti drop after reading…bad news? Why the announcement of property bonds when we can’t even buy them? You should have stuck to the radio silence, at least then we would not have gotten our hopes up.

Third, this pivot into what can only be described as some kind of betterment lifestyle brand where we’re all worthy is way over the top, like WAY over the top. We get it already, you’re trying to make the world a better place by, well, we aren’t quite sure how. Posting motivational pictures on social media I guess? By getting people to sign up for an app that they can’t do anything with maybe? You know what I am worthy of? Buying the bonds I signed up with your company to buy!

Finally, the developers of this app have been promising to update it forever. Another in the list of unfulfilled promises from this company, this app continues, to this day, to force you to log in each time you want to use it. Not with Face ID, or even Touch ID (as was promised when that was still used), no, by typing in your credentials each time.

I am worthy…of getting answers. We all are!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Thieves

*2026-03-12, version 1.2.0*

They will steal your money

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-02-12, version 1.2.0*

Junk bonds pretending to be safe investments. Only invest if you wanna lose your money. Terrible company

### 1/5 — Don’t use this!

*2026-02-05, version 1.2.0*

Very risky! They will take all of the investment even though they claim it is backed my collateral. I guess they just used hopes and dreams because they didn’t give me a single penny back!

### 1/5 — Risky Company - Avoid!

*2026-02-04, version 1.2.0*

Bonds have been declared worthless with no compensation. This is not low risk.

### 1/5 — A Fkn joke

*2026-02-04, version 1.2.0*

Not only has the app never worked, but they scam people out of their money and aren’t able to refund everyone their money yet they’re still advertising. They also sold your data. Good luck removing your information, getting your money back, and retrieving data.

### 1/5 — Not to be trusted

*2026-02-02, version 1.2.0*

I’ve lost everything I put into worthy, but they keep pretending to give interest

### 1/5 — WARNING - YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!

*2025-12-08, version 1.2.0*

THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY THAT SCAMS PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR & JUST PUTNYPIR MONEY INTO AN S&P 500 ETF.

### 1/5 — Complete scam

*2025-11-11, version 1.2.0*

Complete scam - withholding withdrawals so you can’t get your money out if you invest - beware, like other reviews say this is financial fraud. 0 stars.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-10-04, version 1.2.0*

DO NOT INVEST YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!

Their Bonds are junk. They will gladly take your money and when the Bonds mature they will state your Bonds are on hold for withdrawal.

I am currently going on 6 years of my money on hold with their bonds!

Contacted customer support and was told nothing they can do.

### 1/5 — Do not use!

*2025-09-23, version 1.2.0*

Worthy has paused withdrawals from some of their offerings for over 2 years now. Do not use this service as there is no guarantee that you can withdraw your money, despite what they say. People have lost thousands investing in this “safe” investment. You are better off getting a high yield savings account at a place such as Raisin or Lending Club.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Unhappy

*2026-01-05, version 1.2.0*

Not happy with this or other apps that promote 1 rate and then give you less than advertised

### 5/5 — WELL worth it

*2024-06-24, version 1.2.0*

I’ve used them for a few years now. Draws a great interest rate and very simplistic to use. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — 9/10 -- Software improvements needed

*2020-12-16, version 1.0.89*

Company and concept is great, as well as it's support staff. Only area that needs to be improved is the app and website design and functionality. Currently, it has some flaws with lagging, screens going white until you close and re-open the app, and so forth. Simple, yet important, fixes that I'm sure will be addressed as this company continues to grow. This is another great financial asset for the common consumer to take advantage of.

### 5/5 — Great rates, easy savings

*2020-11-03, version 1.0.89*

So I recently just started this and the interest I have made is amazing. Way more than just sitting in savings. It’s so easy to use and I love the other options to regularly add funds. The only negative thing is it take about three days to process funds either direction, but not a big deal.

### 5/5 — Phenomenal Product!!!

*2020-10-16, version 1.0.88*

I have been using Worthy for over a year now and I’m amazed at how simple Worthy has made the seemingly complex topic of bonds. Put your money in, take it out at any time, no questions asked. Plus earn 5%. That’s it. Beats any bank for short term savings funds.

They have an auto-deposit feature that you can set and forget. There really is no downside, as they invest in the safest type of bonds and have extremely low risk. They’ve figured out how to help both consumers and small businesses. Five stars. Great work, guys!

My only offer of feedback - I realize due to the nature of SEC regulations, you need to separate funds. That said, can you create a total at the bottom that adds those three totals together in the app? I’d like to see my overall holdings much easier. So essentially, create one more button below the other three funds that gives me my total? I’d love that!

-A proud bond holder

### 5/5 — This app is great but UI is terrible

*2020-09-27, version 1.0.88*

You guys seriously need a complete redesign of this app’s UI. I’m a developer and work on UI often and I can def say that this is just an ugly look. It’s not modern and very glitchy. Login especially is bad. You’ll go back to the app and nothing works. You’ll have to close the app then reopen then it logs you out automatically. Put some more effort into this app. Most people will be accessing it from here. What you guys do is fantastic but the developers are giving off a very lazy design.

### 5/5 — Solid way to grow your money

*2020-08-22, version 1.0.78*

Easy way to invest with low risk 5% a year which is a nice percentage. Start growing your money today!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2020-03-23*

Works just as advertised. This person complaining about the app being just a “wrapper” is just complaining to complain. The bonds are purchased, the interest earns and shows up daily, and I withdrew money and it showed back up in my bank.

### 5/5 — Worth looking into

*2019-08-17, version 1.0.29*

So far it’s great. It’s another revenue stream to have in your portfolio. I like it’s ease of use and since this concept is fairly new, the app will continue to improve.

### 5/5 — Great way to have a safe investment

*2019-08-06, version 1.0.29*

Interest accrues daily at a rate that I far greater than any other bond, CD, or savings account, with less volatility than the stock market. Intuitive app design let’s you see exactly how your money grows and let’s you automatically reinvest your interest — with as little as $10.00. It’s not my only investment account at this point, but it’s definitely one of my favorites
