## What is Wortino?

Wortino is a German vocabulary and grammar app built for Turkish speakers. It uses the FSRS spaced-repetition algorithm, so words you're learning come back for review right before you'd otherwise forget them.

Meanings, explanations and the interface are available in Turkish and English only; the app is made for Turkish- and English-speaking learners of German.

This is a beta release. A1 and A2 levels are available now; B1 is coming soon.

WHAT'S IN WORTINO

• Flashcards: study German words together with real example sentences
• Der/die/das practice: reinforce noun gender with dedicated drills
• Verb conjugation tables: presented as flashcards, so you see and review conjugated forms
• Grammar drills: covering the passive voice (Passiv), Konjunktiv II, separable verbs, and verbs that govern a fixed preposition
• Topic units: study words grouped by everyday topics
• Offline study: keep studying without a connection; progress syncs once you're back online

EXAMPLE SENTENCES

Most example sentences in the app come from the Tatoeba corpus (tatoeba.org) and are shared under the CC BY 2.0 FR licence. Full sourcing details are in the Credits page inside the app. Some explanations and example sentences are prepared with the help of AI and reviewed; AI-written example sentences are always labelled on the cards.
