## What is WoundCorder?

WoundCorder is a local-first wound documentation and tracking app for patients, caregivers, students, and clinical research workflows.

Capture wound photos, record structured observations, monitor measurement trends over time, and optionally pair with a Bluetooth perfusion screening device for research-oriented metrics such as phase angle, perfusion index, StO2 estimate, and bioimpedance trends.

WoundCorder is designed to keep sensitive records on your device. There are no third-party analytics, ads, tracking, or cloud accounts. Exports are user-initiated, so you control when data leaves the app.

Key features:

- Capture wound photos and measurement encounters
- Organize records by patient, wound site, and visit
- Track longitudinal wound area and trend history
- Add structured intake details, comorbidities, medications, and notes
- Record optional voice notes for encounters
- Use Patient or Professional mode depending on your workflow
- Pair with supported BLE perfusion hardware or use built-in simulator mode
- Export research data in CSV or JSON
- Protect records with device security and biometric unlock
- Review medical disclaimer, privacy policy, and terms inside the app

WoundCorder is intended for research, educational, and documentation support use only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or replace professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for wound evaluation, treatment decisions, or urgent symptoms.
