My kid was in virtual for a while and it would always go out while he was in class. My wife is a teacher, same thing. I have called and get basically no help. They sent a guy out to my house, he was rude and basically told me my internet shouldn’t be doing that “its new equipment” he said. I felt he was implying I had something to do with their service going out. I really do not like this company. ### 1/5 — Not functional *2021-03-16* I can’t do or access anything through this app. I’m confused as to why this would have been released if not functional. Frustrating and not a solid business decision. Even when I have confirmed it is the correct user and pw. For some reason I get re-directed to another log in / register page. Only then, sometimes I can log in. IF I am able to log in then I am not able to submit payment. The app is slow, not intuitive at all and non-responsive when pressing on menu. It doesn’t have a customer service or tech support functionality, it’s surprising that this company is so behind in the technology aspect. Xfinity app is much better, has ability to resend signal for internet or tv and schedule tech visit without ever talking to a live person. WoW’s idea of technology is you can send an email on there website homepage and they will respond in 48 hours and tell you that you need to call and sit on hold for 30 minutes until you get someone in India that barely speaks English. Chanels often missing. Have to reset it constantly. Error messages, literally every single time I turn on the TV. When someone finally answered his accent was really hard to understand. He gave me some suggestions which did not work. He put me on hold Nd disconnected me! I called back and again had to wait twenty plus minutes. This new CSR put me on hold and then disconnected me. However, it’s been working really well. I can control all three of my cable boxes from my phone. I also like the ability to look at the guide via the app vs. my TV remote. Totally recommend this app if you have the Ultra package. ### 3/5 — Buggy, but most functions work *2019-01-30* The sync option does not display valid media gateways. There seems to be no way to send a network request to obtain the valid media gateways available. Therefore the sync feature is completely nonfunctional. The search function window will often, for no apparent reason, delete characters already typed, as though a flush has been performed. This then requires retyping the characters that were flushed. ### 3/5 — It’s okay *2017-09-20* Switched to WOW! from Time Warner Cable where you could watch TV from the TWC TV app. It's ok but it stinks you have to be on the ULTRA box's wifi network to use as a remote since we use our own wifi! ### 2/5 — It needs improvement *2020-04-03* The app will not open unless you are connected to the WOW network. So it will not slow you to report problems when there is an outage. Also the Comcast app lets you watch recorded content from the app from anyplace if you are traveling. It would be nice if WOW had these features. ### 2/5 — Really buggy *2019-10-05* Only records about 50% of the time, even when at home and connected to the same wi-fi as the box.
