## What is WPI Safe?

WPI Safe: Campus Safety & Emergency Alerts is an essential tool to enhance your safety at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. You’ll get important safety alerts and instant access to campus safety resources, including WPI Campus Police. WPI Safe is the university’s official mobile safety app. 

Benefits include:

• Safety Notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions from campus safety when on-campus emergencies occur. (Notifications are sent through WPI’s existing RAVE system.)
• Mobile Blue Light: Easily make an emergency call and share your location with Campus Police
• Friend Walk: Share your real-time location with a trusted friend during a defined walk
• Social Escape: Schedule an automated phone call to use as an excuse to leave a social situation.
• I’m OK: Send a message indicating you’re OK and showing the time and your location
• Emergency Guide: Get information and tips on what to do in potential campus emergencies, such as extreme weather events.
• Safety Toolbox: Links to online WPI Campus Police resources and campus maps
