## What is WPT?

WPT (Work Progress Tracking) is an internal task management and attendance app for employees of organizations using the WPTA platform.

WHO IS THIS FOR
  WPT is a companion app to the WPTA management platform designed for businesses. You need an employee account issued by your organization to use the app. Accounts cannot be self-registered publicly — they must be approved by an administrator.

PRIVACY
  • GPS location is only collected when you actively tap the attendance button.
  • Camera and Photo Library are accessed only when you choose to attach media.
  • Microphone is recorded only while you hold the voice-message button.
  • You can delete your account and personal data directly in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account).

MULTIPLE PUNCHES PER DAY
• The one-check-in-per-day limit is gone. Every tap is its own punch.
• The attendance screen shows how many times you punched today, lists the sites you visited, and gives you first/last timestamps plus total time.
• Attendance history shows the punch count for each day, and flags days with only a single punch so you know to follow up.

PHOTO & FILE GALLERY
• Task attachments now appear as a grid — tap any image for full-screen viewing and swipe between images.
• Videos show a preview thumbnail with a play button; tapping hands off to your phone's player.
• Other files show their original name and size.

TASK ASSIGNMENT
• Receive-only users can now record work for themselves: open the create-task form and the assignee field narrows to just you. Self-assigned tasks appear under both "Assigned" and "Received".
• The assignee list follows the assignment reach your company configures — where broad assignment is allowed, it is no longer filtered by rank.
• Managers can pick a person straight from a block that has no department underneath, instead of stalling on an empty "Department" step.

OTHER
• You are now notified when a newer version is available on the App Store, with a direct update link.
• A pasted email with stray spaces in sign-in or sign-up no longer fails with "invalid email".
