It is hard to find information that you are looking for even if it aired that day. A lot of times the anchor woman or anchorman will say that there’s more information on the website and it is absolutely hard to find. You really have to go down a rabbit hole and it’s frustrating. I would like to be able to access Clark Howard information and (information that comes on at 5 and 6 AM in the morning that helps people save money) at any time of day. There’s all these clips of negative news but something that could be helpful to someone is next to an accessible. I just filled it. A person should be able to find whatever they just saw on TV for at least a few days. They are well written. Keeping up on events around Pittsburg and current events in other areas of United States is my top priority. Also World Events are important to keep up with. I also enjoy hearing about my Pittsburgh Teams, Steelers, Penguins and the Pirates! Win or loose they be are my favorites! It is also nice to keep track of entertainment events around Pittsburgh. The only problem I have with all stations is the lack of news on Iran regarding our troops. App never ever works for me. When you click on something you want to view it jumps to something unrelated. I have tried re installing it, checked to see if there was any revised versions and found nothing work. I have to scroll through the app to find it. And sometimes it’s not worth searching the app so I don’t bother to read the article. ### 1/5 — Forced Auto Play Videos *2025-03-15, version 8.9.4* SEIZURE WARNING!!!! That is what needs to be listed. There is absolutely ZERO control over the video that plays in the middle of the articles. There is ZERO way to stop it or pause it. I doubt they thought about the flashing lights from emergency vehicles causing people issues. A LOT of people read the their icons Phones in dim lighted areas and the brightness of the videos flashing lights can be distracting and mind numbing. And if you’re seizure prone, don’t use this app. I get migraines and the videos playing cause me headaches. Flashing lights of emergency vehicles in the videos I can’t control make it worse. Yes, they give an option to turn off auto play on videos (what they don’t tell you is that it’s only for the video at the top of the app, not the ones they embed in the middle of the article). Great. But then they update their app. The videos that would have played in the past still don’t play. But what they don’t tell you is they added a new video section in the middle of every article that you can’t stop auto playing. I hate auto playing videos because if you’re not careful with the volume they are loud and you need to remember to mute. Also, not everyone has unlimited data. The point of their new videos in the middle of the articles are to advertise other news articles, but still. Stop forcing videos. WHY CAN’T I JUST READ THE NEWS. Stop forcing videos. It's the worst news app. I want to read not watch WPXI videos that are 80% commercials for WPXI. I actually took screenshots of these cause I was going to send them to you. It’s the only channel where you actually get real news, you get a lot of fluff from From KDKA and you get about the same same thing from WTAE because we know the KDKA spending all their money on the radio but they don’t really care about what’s going on but if you wanna know what crime is going on, which is very important to know about anymore it’s you guys it’s the only one I go to. You could really set the bar but really making the app top notch but it’s not. It’s like there is a lack of stories that deal w/ other topics than just wars or politics. The local news tells me of what’s going on around me. There are many more human interest stories, most which deal with topics that effect me. There could be more. Needless to say it came as quite a shock when we found that it was no longer included with our cable a few years ago.
