### 4/5 — Idk

*2021-04-08, version 4.0.7*

This app shortens your paragraph to the most relevant information it’s doesn’t re write it and I think that’s what we were all looking for and thinking this app would do but it’s doesn’t.
Overalll if your looking to use it for it’s purpose it’s a good app.

### 2/5 — Good idea, poor execution

*2021-02-09, version 4.0.7*

I like the idea of being able to summarize content. But I cannot figure out your app. What is the sliding bar on the bottom left-hand side? When I use it and go back to the beginning it seems like it has doubled tripled and quadrupled words. I have used other summarizers I would like to think these attempt to summarize the content by a percentage but when I put it on 88 does really nothing. Tell me what’s going on. Also, It seems to catch a lot of superfluous cramp that’s really not germane to the articles such as advertisements, click here, go here, other. Maybe a short tutorial would work.

### 4/5 — Not Perfect

*2020-12-11, version 4.0.7*

It’s not perfect, but dose a great job

### 4/5 — Great application, almost perfect

*2020-05-27, version 4.0.7*

I love this application, and I use it every single day for a number of reasons. I use it to summarize articles, PDFs, and documents for work.
The only thing that I'm hoping for is that it gains the ability to summarize longer blocks of text. Right now, It seems like anything over 8,000-10,000 words is too much for it and it pauses and eventually crashes. If there is a way for the developer to alleviate this issue and allow it to take more text, then in my eyes, this will be my favorite application of all time in terms of the broad ways in which it is useful and the amount I use it every day. Overall, this is definitely the best summary app ever.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2019-08-23, version 4.0.3*

App is no good. You can’t type it has to passages has to to come off the web and has to be a link. It’s horrible never gonna use it again.

**Developer response:** Hey! You can also copy in text from your notes and/or other apps and use Internet links :)

### 2/5 — App doesn’t summarize-

*2019-03-22, version 4.0.1*

The app doesn’t summarize, it cuts the article. Main ideas are missing. The app it just a cut and paste. The app should summarize using different synonyms so it doesn’t appear that one is just copying what they will normally read. The app is useless.

**Developer response:** Hey! Seems like you didn't read the description, which says "WrapItUp helps you shorten a set of paragraphs to the most relevant sentences containing key points you should be aware of". The app follows the 'Extraction' method of summarization that works by selecting a subset of existing words, phrases, or sentences in the original text to form the summary. This method also makes it possible to do the entire summarization on device, without the use of internet. You can always select the length of the summary if you feel it's not up to the mark by using the slider on the bottom of the summary. Though if you want to discuss about this, and help me build a better service, please feel free to email me at harshdeephura@heuramedia.com

### 1/5 — Wrap it Up

*2019-03-11, version 4.0*

Its so wack, it literally just gets sentences from the paste. Thats not what I need i need it to summarize it in other sentences.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2019-03-11, version 4.0*

I will summarize my review which will be better than using the app. It doesn’t work.

### 3/5 — WrapItUp

*2018-08-16, version 3.0*

This app does NOT abbreviate or shorten any sentences; all it does is pick out which ones it believes are most important. Perhaps that is what you are looking for, but I want an app that summarizes the article (if such an app exists).

### 4/5 — Cool idea

*2016-06-20, version 1.3*

Great app. However sometimes it doesn't work correctly

### 1/5 — Problem

*2016-01-11, version 1.0*

Updated version does not work. Cannot clear space to paste new text! Lower bar only shows "Recommended" and "Wrapitup". "New" seems to be missing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App not working

*2023-01-23, version 4.0.7*

Tried it and doesn’t summarize the word document. App only re-wrote the document that I wanted summarized. Then app doesn’t work effectively.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2022-09-16, version 4.0.7*

Whenever I would click “summarize” it would automatically exit out of the app.

### 1/5 — How it works

*2021-12-01, version 4.0.7*

Keeps glitching out of the app to my Home Screen it won’t even load

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2021-11-01, version 4.0.7*

Horrible app don’t bother

### 1/5 — dysfunctional

*2021-09-22, version 4.0.7*

you can't view the text you copied to make sure you're summarizing the right text. there's no guide to how the app works. the summarizing screen makes absolutely zero sense. it just picks up certain words (sometimes only fractions of words) and throws it all together into a single incomprehensible paragraph.

i'd give zero stars but that's not possible; so i'll just half-lie and say my one star is due to their pretty color scheme. yes, the only positive comment i have to make is about their color scheme.
i can't even compliment the dev's idea because it was that horribly executed.

### 1/5 — Having trouble

*2021-06-25, version 4.0.7*

I’m having trouble loading the features. I want to scan text from a book but there’s no way for me to know if there is such a feature. Any response would be great thanks.

**Developer response:** Hey! There's no way to currently scan a page from the app.

### 1/5 — Not Useful

*2021-02-08, version 4.0.7*

This app simply cuts out sentences. It does not read through and give important information or main points. It gives you half of the sentences you started with and it makes no sense. Also uses a URL so it puts extra things into the summary like, “This website uses cookies to...” so that's something else you have to go back and fix. Would rate zero stars if possible.

### 1/5 — Great idea unfortunately inop

*2020-12-15, version 4.0.7*

Can’t type or copy text into the app. How is this suppose to work?

**Developer response:** Hey Josh! You need to copy the text or url first, then open the app. If you already have it opened, just use the arrow button on top right to paste in your text

### 1/5 — It doesn’t work

*2020-07-13, version 4.0.7*

It’s not summarizing it keeps crashing

### 1/5 — Needs work.

*2019-12-16, version 4.0.3*

The app froze after the tutorial.

**Developer response:** Hey! I apologize for the crashes. Is it possible to replicate it so I can fix it? Please feel free to drop me an email at harshdeephura@heuramedia.com

### 5/5 — This app is so good

*2022-02-22, version 4.0.7*

This all actually does a good job I was surprised, they summarize everything perfectly.

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2022-02-06, version 4.0.7*

Great. Please make it available to non-US apple App Store. I had to log out and log into US store to get this.

### 5/5 — Pleasantly Surprised!

*2021-03-08, version 4.0.7*

I almost didn’t download this, but I’m glad I did because I was legitimately caught off guard by this app’s performance.

I use a lot of apps for writing, when pith is a requirement. Writing things, while retaining the meaning, sentence structure, and grammar, can be a nightmare sometimes.

This made the process a little faster and easier. I would have paid for this app without thinking twice.

### 5/5 — Great app especially for homework

*2020-09-23, version 4.0.7*

I used this for my homework to summarize it for me and I was so happy I didn’t have to do it myself!

### 5/5 — My Opinion..

*2020-01-31, version 4.0.4*

Nice app! Just that when it summarizes the paragraphs...the sentences are all choppy... Maybe it’s a glitch or something but its actually easy to make the sentences make sense! Overall, amazing job on it it really helped me!

**Developer response:** Glad you like the app, Lilly81814! Yes there are issues that I'm working on. It'd be such a great help if you could screenshot / send me the text over on harshdeephura@heuramedia.com or on Twitter @theharshdeep so I can fix those bugs? ^_^

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-10-30, version 4.0.3*

Very helpful

**Developer response:** Glad you find the app useful! Please feel free to get in touch with me on Twitter @theharshdeep or via email harshdeephura@heuramedia.com if you'd like to see something more from the app :)

### 5/5 — This mimics the “Summarize” app that comes with Mac in the OS.

*2018-01-15, version 3.0*

This makes it so easy to take an article/url and get a condensed version when you’re in a rush or don’t need to read it in its entirety to get the idea. Well done.

### 5/5 — Wow very cool!

*2015-12-20, version 0.3*

I was a bit skeptical at first but this app works surprisingly good! Great for anyone who needs to do a lot of summarization.

### 5/5 — Good stuff.

*2015-07-26, version 0.1*

Really like it. The only problem is that I have to copy paste a ton of stuff. This is still the first version. Would love to see plug ins that worked on things like WSJ and techcrunch.
You have to try this!
