I ain’t got time for that. In the old version I could open the app and learn what I wanted to know at a glance. If I had the time and wanted to see the video, I knew where it was. I never once, even now, watch the video of the weatherman. If I have time for more than a glance, my second go to is the radar animation. I’ve lived in Memphis my whole life. I can tel the weather for the next few hours just as good as your meteorologist if I can see the radar animation. And I get that information in seconds instead of minutes. If I want to see the long term forecast, I can punch that up. Again, without ever watching your weatherman. The new ap is more cumbersome and less informative. Can change multiple times in a day. It appears this is the case with all of these apps and today’s reliance on weather models and computer simulations. For as long as I can remember my mom watched and I have been watching news channel 3 for the weather. Even if we were watching something else when she knew it was time for the weather she would say, “put it on channel 3 so I can see what they are going to say about the weather.” We have always had the best weather teams this side of the Mississippi.
