I loved Powerslam magazine in the 90s but don’t need to read it in 2019. The business and coverage of wrestling has moved on, wrestletalk feels dated and shallow and not what I want in a wrestling magazine. ### 1/5 — RUBBISH!!! *2013-05-15* App crashes all the time on my iPad 2. It loaded once, then has never loaded since. Unfortunately, the magazine issues can't be read with the iPhone's Voice Over accessibility feature, so blind people like myself can't use it! I press the app, get a black screen for about ten seconds, then back to the news stand screen...... No happy ### 3/5 — FSM - 🌟🌟🌟 *2012-01-02* I have subscribed to FSM since it issue 1, so when I found a version for my iPhone 4s it seemed like a good app to download. This app has so much potential but the issue is the clarity of the text. When you zoom in (so that the text is actually big enough to read) the font becomes blurred. It is possible to read it (just about) but it looks terrible. This is a pretty big issue given its a magazine! And it's very surprising given the screen resolution of the 4s. You would think it would be capable of something so simple! I imagine this (and all magazines through Newstand?) would be better suited for the iPad? I don't know if this is what the other magazines through Newstand are like, but if it is I wont be downloading anymore in my iPhone. Please make the text more crisp when zoomed in, then it would be a 5 star app. Everything else is great though, plus its cheaper than buying the actual mag! (£2.49 in app purchase, compared to £3.50 for the real thing) ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Incredible app *2016-03-12* For me this is the best magazine out there currently and having it on the tap of a finger makes it a very worthwhile purchase. The app works without frustration and with a vast backlog of older issues, I feel like I have an encyclopaedia of wresting at my finger tips. 5 stars. ### 5/5 — Top notch! *2015-06-09* Informative, educational and a damn good read. Highly recommended! Only fault is that an internet connection/3G is needed to open it up since an update the other month. ### 5/5 — Fsm 5 Star quality *2015-01-24* Top mag that gives coverage of the whole wrestling scene including the UK which is becoming bigger and better all the time. Good UFC info as well. Top links to wrestling classics makes this top value for money. Also delivered to your IPad/Tablet so no scouring the shelves of your local supermarket . I have read this magazine for years and would recommend it to ALL fans of wrestling ### 5/5 — A must-read for grapple fans *2015-01-23* The inclusion of video links to provide additional info or qualify references proves that this magazine has really embraced the technology of e-readers and tablets. The editorial style articles and guest columns are written professionally by knowledgable scribes, despite discussing one of the more irreverent staples of our pop culture landscape. Unlike many wrestling mags, FSM manages to cover wrestling and MMA from all over the world, not just today's action but the history and what to look out for in the future. ### 5/5 — No Faults *2013-09-09* This magazine is exactly what any wrestling fan would want and having it on my phone makes life so much easier. Love it! ### 5/5 — Works no more *2012-11-08* Love the magazine, but doesn't work anymore and hasn't for about a month now. Love it so much and try almost every day to get it open. Got an iPad2 and it worked perfectly until the software update. Please fix as it is not an easy mag to find. If it works for you, you will be in awe & get it every month like I did until recently, as it is well written with great guest columns and editorials. Just a shame I can't use it anymore. Please review if you experience the same problems as me, so we can all enjoy such great content. Much love. Will always buy if I see it on the shelves.
