I have always been hesitant to upgrade iOS , but did so. Now write app will not work on my phone. I don’t wish to lose the information in the app. What can be done? ### 3/5 — Good. *2019-01-02, version 1.5* I like all of the options for writing . All of the fonts and background images that are available make it quite fun . Though the ads feel pretty evasive . There's got to be a better way to advertise . And it doesn’t let me delete the “emergency” file that pops up every time I open it. Please, please fix this. I want to back up all my work! Otherwise, this app is pretty goodZ ### 2/5 — Write 2 Lite *2017-02-10, version 1.4.1* I was getting to really feel this was the best app of its kind, then, SUDDENLY, I WAS TOLD TO LOOK AT THE "PRO" VERSION; unfortunately I was told the Pro Version is not compatible with my iPad. Oh OK, I just went back to try to use the original version, BUT IT WOULD NOT DO SO! So, I was able to write three sentences (VERY LIGHT DEVELOPER MEANS?). Three sentences and then no more compatible. Oh My, what will I ever do now? I could write ANYTHING! When I clicked "new file" NOTHING HAPPENED! So I got this, and I can only make 5 files!! Assume the same for this, don't expect it to work and show you your data after an update!!! ### 3/5 — Write 2 lite *2015-08-22, version 1.4.1* Write2 lite is overall a good app so I upgraded and my files remain in the free app and when I write in the upgrade it shuts down after a few sentences. Powering off and on makes no difference. They do not sell the paid version on the Apple Store which is a little suspicious, but worse, they haven't answered three emails! This vendor has gone silent. How hard can it be to get a note app that is simple to use, like the default notepad, that syncs across devices(with diff people)?! Very. I have tried so many other apps and they all fail. Evernote for example, the poster child for notes, is overly burdensome, difficult to use (simple typing even) and syncing of the same notes on diff devices causes conflicts where things disappear and override each other. But this app uses Dropbox to sync, and each sync overrides the old one on ALL devices that have the same Dropbox account instantly, i.e. as soon as I finish modifying my note, the file shows a blue syncing symbol indicating activity, like in Dropbox, then a green check mark that it's done. Now my wife, wherever she is, will see the update to my grocery list too. Sounds easy, well let me tell u I've been looking for years for this. I don't want to chose themes, select categories, create checkmarks, find my notes hidden amongst a plethora of menus, or be bothered by fanciness. This app has what I want, no full version needed, well maybe to get rid of ads. I know notepad syncs across devices but that's only the ones using the same Apple ID/iCloud but who wants to share all the same settings/apps with another person? I just want this one thing to be synced. Dropbox doesn't have a text editing feature otherwise I would just use that. I'm a fanfiction author and I was looking for an app that could write all sorts of fanfiction and regular fiction! This is a must download app. You can have several folders and files at once. You can choose themes and fonts and it's really great. Almost like a pocket Microsoft word.
