I’ve considered purchasing the full version, but it is not clear what added options you get for it. But it has a couple issues: 1) It often seems needlessly picky about the order and direction of the strokes one makes to form the letters. 2) The voice uses Modern Greek pronunciation for the letters, but the transliterated (i.e., English phonetic) text uses Erasmian pronunciation. I purchased the app and found that out the hard way. (2) the pronunciation is wonky and indistinct. It makes no sense to require two strokes for the kappa, or that the alpha must start from the top down. who cares? The problem is that it is expecting you to pick a particular case - so you have a 50/50 chance of picking correctly. Minor critique but it stands out when trying to get all questions in a review correct. ### 4/5 — The app is great but on my iPad it loads sideways *2023-04-30* As above ### 4/5 — Greek alphabet *2023-03-16* I studied the upper and lower case letters, and had fun with this app in learning those, but I noticed that sometimes I’m writing the letter too high or too low, so I’d like an exercise which pairs the upper and lower case forms together. That could give me a better idea of where they go on a line. (A few upper and lower cases are quite different from each other too.) I’d like an exercise for writing the alphabet in order as well. I like how this app combines listening, reading, and writing skills. We hear, see, and write in the same exercise; that’s very helpful.
