Overall, it can be handy for occasional use, but certainly not for extensive editing. It is a keeper given the price point. Opportunities for improvements: * Tighter integration with Files. For example, opening a file from Files (the file is actually stored on OneDrive) results in an error message ‘could not open file’. Note that I can still open the file when I open it directly from WritePDF. * I had to login to my OneDrive account twice within a half hour period. * Some annotations such as drawing a line seemed to be flattened and I could not delete when I went back and reopened the file. * there is something about the user interface that does not come across as friendly and easy to use. * file names are abbreviated and show up as icons. There is no option to display files as lists. Bottom line, it is basic app for occasional use at a decent price. ### 2/5 — Write PDF *2020-07-19, version 4.4.2* I find this app somewhat awkward to use, but where I really have issues with it is when I open a file, edit it, save it, and try to reopen it again later, the file won’t open. Message is “Can’t open file”. Not satisfied with this app at all! So many online forms require a text input, and this the App to do it. It crashes when I tried to annotate. ### 1/5 — Deceiving *2016-04-07, version 3.3.2* When printing to PDF in U.S. Letter format, some pages show wider than others. Most of the times is the last page. Sometimes, the data in the clipboard screen suddenly disappears, either partially or totally, leaving a white blank area, even when the data is still in the clipboard. These EuroSmartz apps look great but are deceiving and poor in quality and service. The PrintCentral app, with its in-app upgrade, installed in my iPad, is not much different than the PrintCentral Pro on my iPhone, except I had to pay a lot more for it, because I didn't know better. To make things even more confusing, EuroSmartz has another app that does not look much different, called WritePDF. This looks like a "catch your money" play game from EuroSmartz. For my iPhone, I purchased PrintCentral Pro, which looks like having more frequent updates in the app-store, than the other apps. I purchased it for my iPhone, but I can't use it on my iPad. Except for the printing on older non iPrint printers, and PDF conversions, these apps are deceiving because they look like having a nice folder/file storage structure, but their bugs and the danger of loosing important files are a hard reality. The WritePDF app is always crashing, displaying errors that I have been reporting to EuroSmartz for a while, and, as of yet, no fix so far. One of the bugs in the PrintCentral w/ upgrade app causes files in sub-folders level to be duplicated in the folders level, after exporting those folders with files to iCloud, to be imported to another app like WritePDF. WARNING! Another annoying feature of these EuroSmartz apps is the lack of an UNDO function. If you want to delete a file or folder, you check it, and select the delete trash-can. If you are in a rush, it is very easy to skip the attention to the pop up message showing the number of files being deleted. At this point, if you previously selected a file or folder somewhere else in your big file list, and forgot to unselected that file which was scrolled beyond the visible limits of the screen, you end up loosing all that precious data with no chance to recover or undo. These apps should have an UNDO function (like most 21st Century apps do). In some of these EuroSmartz apps, the PDF files show different widths, as compared with originals open in non EuroSmatz apps. These apps tend to crash when trying to open some of the files, or doing some special operations. There are also bugs when copying these files. Sometimes the result is a blank file. The response emails from their support team show their response, but do not show your question message, so, if you sent more than one email, you may not know which question are they responding to. ### 1/5 — Horrible! Don't waste your time, money, or frustration *2015-04-11, version 3.1.1* As has been often said before, I wish I could give this app a rating less than 1-star. From its design, to its features, and even its mere maneuverability, the whole app is a complete disaster. The app crashes every 5-seconds when editing a document, causing you to lose all your work. Additionally, the 24/7 support is a complete joke as half the individuals don't even speak proper English, and they all talk to you as if you've never picked up a smart device before to try simple trouble shooting. I used this app particularly for timesheets and getting signatures when out in the field. The app can't even handle someone writing their signature, making it look look a jumbled mess in comparison to other signature apps (something that was very embarrassing when I handed my iPad to a client to sign). What really drove me over the top was when I opened the app to find that EVERY SINGLE ONE of my saved files had been erased, causing me to lose a week's worth of work. This app is a hinderance, not a tool for organization or advancement. I hope to see it off the market ASAP. Don't waste your time, money, or frustration! ### 1/5 — Can't import files from Google drive *2014-12-14, version 3.1.1* I didn't even get to start using it because the app would not recognize my fully functional Google drive account from which I planned to read-edit documents - I've already uninstalled it ### 1/5 — Swindle *2014-07-11, version 3.1.1* Great app on the surface with useful tools. However there is no mention in the description this is a trial version. Get to end of the 'trial' and the app locks access to your work including any notes you've made before trying ransom it back to you for a princely sum. Reminds me of the Cryptolocker virus. So with no clarity up front how can you trust the developer to allow long term access to your work? Where is the access to your data when the developer withdraws support?! Frustrated and peeved at loosing hours of work. This App does a great job of allowing edits to pdf documents. Good filing capability and integration with other apps. WritePDF is an indispensable app for document management on an iPad (and probably other devices!) I only need Write PDF during certain certain seasons of my work, but when I do, it is my “go-to” app for all PDF docs. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Prnting pdfs *2020-06-11, version 4.4.2* I use this for printing pdfs as it connects to my PS printer and has more options than other ‘Airprint’ only apps, for example it is the only app I have found to perform the simple task of double-sided landscape printing while flipping on the short edge.
