But it just won’t sync. Well it syncs sometimes but that is very rare and cannot be reproduced. The developers seem to have given me the old standby it’s probably me and am I sure I have my system set correctly etc. brush off. I am so tired of this lame excuse. It’s your creation fix it. But it seems the more I’ve been adding to the app, the slower and more glitchy it is becoming. I wonder if there there’s any that can be done on the software side of things to make the app more robust. I don’t know if I will ever get around to using the sound recording feature, but we’ll see. One thing I would like to see is this app being offered for M1 and newer Macs, which should be an easy adjustment to make. I spend a lot of time on my Mac, and this would be helpful to me. ### 4/5 — Useful app, needs more *2024-02-13* After checking with other iPad users about their favorite songwriting apps, I discovered this one. I like the ease of use and the easy access to the dictionaries and thesaurus and find it very comfortable to use. The main feature I would like to see is availability on Macs with M1 or better processors. Also, I like that the app isn’t involved with any AI generation of lyrics; while there’s a place for that, I’m not interested in having that feature. ### 5/5 — Truly helps with writer’s block! *2024-01-06, version 2.1.9* Definitely been suffering from writer’s block and I feel this app has all the tools necessary to help me. I’ve lost numerous ideas by not hitting save or tapping anywhere else on the screen but the save button. Now I can’t even access my quick notes or save any new ones as the app has become buggy. ### 1/5 — Broken App *2023-12-14* I paid cause I thought what I couldn’t do was blocked behind a pay wall. The button to contact support is broken and does not work. How can I contact them if the support button does nothing. Cannot add chords to my lyrics. There is a chord section but no way of adding the chord to a part of the lyrics. It just states cancel. After selecting a chord, nothing happens. I’ve tried tapping, pressing and holding, and highlighting lyrics. The only option on the screen is to cancel, or go back. This was a waste of money. I could do this in any other note app for free. App needs some serious work. Shouldn’t be popping up to upgrade to the paid version if nothing works as intended. Very disappointed in this app as it seemed amazing from the reviews and all of the features. Unfortunately, these features don’t really work as the developers are not fixing anything. Last update was 11 months ago. I have yet to uncover all the features it offers, but simply having a place to create and store my song ideas is majorly helpful. I often start with a title and a general idea, work on it for a while, and then revisit to continue until the piece is finished. Then I will move it out to a performance program that I use when sharing the song publicly.
