Maybe we can guide you through and explain some things. ### 2/5 — Update Ruined It! *2017-08-23* I've been using this app for several years now and it was always very helpful.....until the latest update. If I had to take an interstate somewhere I would check the app to see if I needed to get off anywhere and use back roads and part of another interstate. The color coding made that a quick and easy task. Now, however, the only color you can see...and barely....is red....a very thin line at that! For someone with bifocals it's not so easy to see! There is way too much in the map now. The drive mode option is a good idea but the rest of the changes stink! **Developer response:** We totally understand the mapping problem and are working on that. The best features on the app are the automatic push notifications and audio alerts as you drive. No other app has that info coming from actual traffic reporters 24/7. ### 1/5 — Need another redesign *2016-12-23* I'm sorely dissing in this "update". I looked forward to it as the previous version was riddled with bugs however I would gladly settle for the bugs in comparison to the complete lack of functionality in the new version. Setting routes may as well not even be a feature as you can only set routes from specific areas and not from an address or any location that isn't an interstate. While there may be elements of the new design that are more functional, the key elements (tracking traffic on set routes) are severely lacking in common functionality. Thankfully I can still listen to the radio and get at least some traffic information. ### 2/5 — Terrible update! *2016-12-22* I used to love this app, but this latest update makes me hate it! Used to be able to scan out and see traffic situations all the way to FL, so I could plan ahead on trips south, or advise incoming family about traffic conditions. Now I can only scan as far south as Macon, and a comparable distance to the north, east, and west! The graphics now appear almost cartoonish as well. Not a fan anymore -- will look for another traffic app and delete this one ASAP. ### 1/5 — Awful Awful Awful *2016-11-22, version 3.4.6* This app doesn't even update traffic. I have loaded my routes to work and home at least 4 separate times only to find, while driving to work or home in traffic, that my routes no longer exist. Very frustrating! ### 1/5 — Why does this APP exist? *2015-08-09, version 3.4.6* Useless app. Shows where traffic is heavy but does not give a reason (i.e. Accident, construction,stalled vehicle etc.) nor does it indicate how incident is expected to affect traffic. Please fix this!! WSB usually has really good stuff, so I'm sure that this is almost ready to go. No help warning me about gridlock on 76 except in the northeast atlanta area. It is only for people that live in the north area or going far north of downtown. Useless!! ### 1/5 — So frustrating *2018-08-01* I used to love this app but it stopped playing thru my radio so while frustrating I waited till I got a new car to try reloading the app. I just did that and now it won’t even open. This is crazy. Guess I am just gonna use Waze ### 1/5 — Bust *2017-10-16* Worked great, until I updated my phone. Now, when I tap the app nothing happens. Don’t waste your time with is app. It does not work. **Developer response:** Thanks for the info - there is a glitch with how the app configures with the new iOS11. We are working on a fix for that bug that will come in an update very soon. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for using the app. We are working hard to deliver what we promised. And fortunately, the audio alerts and push alerts - the two best features of the app - still work! ### 1/5 — Privacy *2017-09-30* I uninstalled this app because of the new privacy, or lack there of with this iteration of the app. Used to be very helpful. **Developer response:** We have very strict privacy guidelines and they have not changed since the app had a huge update on July 28th. Thanks for trusting us before and we hope you continue to. ### 1/5 — “Update” killed this app *2017-09-22* I used to use this app all the time. I could always just open it and quickly see how traffic was looking all around the city. I could always quickly choose the best route to go. After the update, it doesn’t tell me anything. No colors on the roads to show traffic flow. It will tell me if there is an accident, but that’s it. I can’t tell how far the back up goes or anything. It’s become useless. I stopped using it entirely and stick to Waze. **Developer response:** We are working on some updates to make the colors on the roads better. The best features of this app are the push alerts and audio alerts of our biggest wrecks. If you leave this open when you drive, the alerts will play automatically. No other app does that and it is updated by our team of traffic experts 24/7. ### 1/5 — App has gone from gold to goat *2017-08-01* This was a very handy traffic tool, but the just released rework ruined it. The screen is cluttered with worthless buttons and much of the traffic screen has been taken away. In addition, it just doesn't look good or clean any longer. I uninstalled WSB traffic and now use Google traffic which is perfect. I swipe the home screen left and the Google traffic widget is there and ready. ### 1/5 — Wrong maps *2017-02-27* Downloaded this app as it was supposed to be for Atlanta Georgia, I-75, but it ended up being for routes in California ### 1/5 — Update ruined *2017-01-12, version 4.0.0* The update ruined this app. I used it every day and will now delete it. The incidents in my area option is gone. All it is now is a non functioning map. ### 1/5 — Totally useless *2017-01-07, version 4.0.0* What happened to all the live cameras that actually worked. These useless still pictures are crap. Now I can't zoom in closer to see local streets-the map won't let me zoom in! I open the app and start my commute and then traffic alerts from the traffic team automatically play to let me know what to avoid or what the hold up is. You can save your frequent routes so it is very easy to quickly click one of these routes and start hearing important updates. Also, traffic alerts are sent to me about key highways that I pre-select based on my use. A wonderful traffic app that makes my commute more manageable! ### 4/5 — Great App *2025-10-01* Fantastic app when the cameras work and the app don’t freeze like has tonight.. I need the cameras to work and the app not be glitchy! I rely on this app when I go on local road trips. ### 4/5 — Simply Amazing! *2017-08-22* BRAVO! This has to be the most intuitive and useful traffic app on the market today. Hearing the voices of the on-air traffic reporters from the radio station inside the app was brilliant. It personalizes the experience beyond anything I've ever seen or used. The hands free alerts (reporters voice) as you close in on a trouble spot is fascinating and very helpful. While most traffic apps serve their general purpose, your new app goes above and beyond expectations. To automatically hear Smilin Mark from the helicopter through the bluetooth in my car when I'm stuck in an Atlanta back up is remarkable. What makes that even more incredible is I hear it based on my location. Therefore, if the radio reports are talking about something on the Southside of town and I'm in Woodstock, I've got my on personal Smilin Mark warning me automatically with details on which lane(s) is blocked, should I exit..and where, or how much time I should expect to be delayed. This gives me the power to make an informed decision when and where I need it. So why not 5 stars? the red/yellow/green is difficult to see on the busy street level map. Secondly, I'd like to hear turn by turn directions if I'm headed to a destination I'm unfamiliar with... However, a turn by turn page listing is available, so could reference that if I got lost... if I could give it 4.5 stars I would. GREAT JOB WSB and Cox Radio. You have forever changed the Atlanta commute. Captain Herb’s bluebird of happiness is singing a happy tune. We hope it continues to serve you well! ### 3/5 — Alerts are helpful but… *2021-06-24* The alerts are great. No way to use Bluetooth while driving so once you start going. Nothing. And, no way to get a route. Keep getting a can’t connect to server error message ### 3/5 — It’s alright *2018-11-04* Like the alerts but this uses data from google maps. I often compare routes with google maps, same exact time and sometime google maps is few minutes quicker. They tried and have to give them credit for the radio station being number 1 and trying to be better than everyone else. Got to respect it ### 3/5 — A little clunky, but convenient for alerts. *2017-08-16* The interface is a little clunky. There are other map programs with traffic overlays that I like better. However, I like the traffic alerts that come up and I like that I can quickly call the Traffic Center. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We are always striving to make it better and we are glad you find value in what we see as the Triple Team Traffic Alert App's best features! ### 3/5 — Better than nothing but not as good as the old *2015-03-03* App does a decent job of monitoring current traffic speeds, though it is inaccurate enough to be irritating. It does NOT do a good job of letting you know about accidents and other issues like the old app did. It seems to rely on user self reports which are few at this point. The smart route feature is a good idea but doesn't work in practice. It doesn't update itself and just isn't very smart. You would think a news station app would use its own traffic reports in the app, but it doesn't. It would be helpful to know what kind of problem is slowing traffic so you can plan an alternate route.
