With only two musicians, this has been a blessing. We’ve used it for over a year and have seen lots of improvements and new innovative ideas added. Currently our songs are controlled by a laptop on Windows. 3 Ipads are connected via blue tooth for musicians and singers. It also sends midi commands to our media desk computer which runs Propresenter where again via blue tooth, changes lyrics slides with the song to the house screens. What other backing track application gives you, lyrics and chords for the band, automates lyrics for the house, gives you a click track for stage, and can give you stereo sound if set up properly. What other application has a creator who actually hears the users. Mark Snyder often takes user ideas and turned them into usable addition to WSB. Wow! Thank you Mark. We’ve used other apps and although they may look pretty, none compare in innovation like worship song band. One last thing. Several companies now offer tracks that can download directly to WSB by a simple code. These come with chords and lyrics. WSB can run on multiple systems, etc, Mac, Windows, and can be set up as slave or master, depending on your needs. And it’s FREE. ### 5/5 — A Big Thumbs Up!! Best Worship App!! WorshipSong Band!! *2020-04-24* Wow! I want to applaud Mr. Mark Snyder for a fantastic job reinstating lyric projection capability for iPad. A big thumbs up for your excellent support! The lyrics and music played flawlessly on my smart TV via my Apple TV box. I can easily control verses and choruses from my iPad while leading worship. Awesome! Hook up was simple and immediate. Well done! WorshipSong Band iOS is now my numero uno app for worship. ### 4/5 — Plus and Minus *2020-03-20, version 6.0.1* Only app of it’s kind. Appreciate it being free and open source text editable for the tracks. However it would be nice if it could beat match to automatically set timings for each song section, because that process is time consuming to do manually. In this day and age it could be more sophisticated. If it could beat match then while listening we could just tap where we think the chorus/verse begins, and it could save this. ### 1/5 — Not so good for Apple users. *2018-01-02* Inputting your own songs is rather difficult. Relies on a text file within a zip file of your instrument and vocal stems to make everything work together. I have worked for hours and have yet to get one song to work. Every time I try to save changes to the text file the app crashes. I have been in communication with the developer of the app and he admits there are better apps available which work more seamlessly for Apple users and he named a couple. **Developer response:** Sorry for your experience trying to import songs. Our song import process is improving all the time. Our open format means you are in control of your library and, while there is a learning curve, our users generally find it worthwhile to learn. And there are over 500 songs from various providers already available without doing any song editing at all. There are really no apps that approach the integrated capability of our app, for any platform. ### 5/5 — The Swiss Army Knife of Multitrack Apps *2015-06-15* Not so much an app as a platform for the creativity of your team. WorshipSong Band Can be used on any tablet or PC/Mac, with any content, and offers features like integrated chord charts and lyric display, networked operation, metronome/pads, tempo change, key change, seamless looping, etc. The list goes on and on. ### 5/5 — Awesome Worship Tool! *2015-06-12* We've been using WSB(Worship Song Band) for over a year now. I LOVE IT! I have it on my iPad, pc laptop, and my MacBook. In church I connect my mini midi keyboard controller to run the app. The app is well thought out, and hasn't quit on me yet. AWESOME JOB to Mark & his team. THANKS FOR THE GREAT APP! ### 5/5 — Awesome Program *2014-04-01* I lead worship for our main sanctuary and our youth group. We have a few high schoolers and a lot of junior high kids. Trying to lead a bunch of teenagers from acoustic only wasn't working, but it was just me and a junior high keyboardist. I introduced this program and multitracks to fill out the sound and create a more full environment of worship. It did just that, while our worship experiences were good before, I am no longer limited in songs and our depth of worship grows deeper. Our team is growing but now we have a firm foundation for our youth team, and with the varying schedules of kids and even adults at times, I don't have to worry if someone cancels last minute. The best part is, I can use tracks from anywhere I can get multitracks. I can even create my own multitracks and put it in this program. On top of all that, the support and people that make this program are extremely helpful. This program makes the most sense instead of using a program where I can only use songs bought from a site and then be limited again to what's on their site. I recommend this program to anyone who can't afford ableton live, it's a great way to lightly and cheaply introduce multitracks. ### 3/5 — Good but needs improvement *2012-11-10, version 1.0* What the app has to offer is barely satisfactory, however it has the potential to be a superb worship tool. There is no help option within the app, so I have no idea if there is a way to add my own music for use, as I cannot find a way to add extra music. The three tracks provided with the app are ok, but not what I'd use. In short, for a free app it's ok, but if it were improved, maybe in a paid app format, for expanded use, it could be superb.
