What I really want is an app where I can listen to news whenever I want, particularly local news. If this had that function, it be my most used app. Instead, I sometimes get the local news broadcast from the NPROne App (when it appears), and otherwise read the articles here, when I have time. ### 5/5 — Has been great *2022-12-06* I mainly use the app to stream sunday baroque when I miss it on WQED FM. For last several days I get only silence When I tap the play button on the old iPad I use as my music server. I do like Amazon music and I do like Pandora but these are amazing Sunday morning presentations that they do every week. But the new update crashes every time within ten seconds, and there are about a tenth the number of archived shows available. Until this latest release this was a 4 star app. ### 2/5 — Great content, terrible app *2022-07-22* I tried to use the app while driving from CT to NC and back. Unfortunately, it stopped streaming and did not restart so often that it was pretty much unusable. Please fix this app! ### 3/5 — Needs a bigger buffer! *2024-10-31* In rural areas (of, ironically, Connecticut and eastern New York, where the radio shadows of iron laden hills block cell signals) the mobile signal is frequently briefly dropped this app needs to be able to keep playing through those signal gaps. It’s not my phone, as this has happened on two separate iPhones. I could do without the hourly news interruptions on weekdays, especially since they provide a separate news feed for those who require constant yakking. ### 3/5 — Please stop “improving” it! *2020-07-26* I like to follow along using the playlist, in case I want to purchase the recording - at least I used to. It took me 'forever’ to figure out that the app doesn’t play ‘today’s’ program, but rather last week’s. No problem… I’ll just click on last week’s playlist… but no; your latest “improvement” removed all previous playlists! In fact today’s playlist (the gray square panel) links directly to the Ton Koopman interview. Using the web page to search by program, date & time results in a “Nothing found" for anything after June 28th. So that precludes any chance of viewing the July 19th playlist. And finally, I have yet to successfully bookmark anything. But why care? Anything I’d want to bookmark can’t be found anymore. So please: stop making improvements, and fire the guy in charge of setting up web links (or teach him how to get it right).
