### 3/5 — Pretty good, but have 2 big issues.

*2026-09-05, version 3.34.04*

1 the apps setting is supposed to allow me to store up to 10 issues @ a time, but as many times as I try it still only saves 7 even though the setting says 10.

Additionally it would be nice if there was a way for me to easily open articles in PDF form if I wish to annotate them with my stylus.

### 4/5 — Good

*2026-09-02, version 3.34.04*

Ok

### 5/5 — Best thing next to paper

*2026-08-30, version 3.34.04*

There’s is so,etching I dearly miss about reading a physical newspaper. This lets you get that feel with some neat features one could never do with paper.

### 5/5 — President

*2026-08-30, version 3.34.04*

Excellent

### 5/5 — Ease of Access

*2026-08-29, version 3.34.04*

Like the Hardcopy and love the electronic. Access through a mobile app is perfect and drilling down into articles is great. Forwarding articles on special topics to myself for future review and also forwarding to friends is very easy.

### 5/5 — Great format

*2026-08-29, version 3.34.04*

Format is true to the daily printed version of WSJ!

### 5/5 — WSJ app helps me to keep up

*2026-08-28, version 3.34.04*

I enjoy having the paper on my phone and the ability to have the articles read to me while I’m working on something less interesting is something I really appreciate.

### 5/5 — Great way to read WSJ overseas

*2026-08-25, version 3.34.04*

I use the app because I live overseas and the print version is not readily available. The app is easy to use and is an excellent alternative to the WSJ print edition.

### 5/5 — Print edition of WSJ

*2026-08-25, version 3.34.04*

Am traveling on vacation and have enjoyed receiving the print edition of my WSJ to read while traveling.

### 5/5 — What’s in a Layout?

*2026-08-24, version 3.34.04*

Kudos to WSJ for going the distance to make the page format reader. 4 out of five stars for the app; needs work on scroll-snapping. I learned to read in the WSJ. Dad did phonics and vocabulary with me every morning @ 6 before school. (Yes, in the snow, uphill both ways, grizzlies, three ring binder). So I’m sentimental about layout and typography, both of which aid humans in multi-dimensional memory.

### 5/5 — Great experience

*2026-08-24, version 3.34.04*

The print edition app gives you the editorial choice of stories and articles of the actual newspaper which is in my opinion unparalleled. The handling is as easy as it could be. You swipe left for the next page, you click on the article you want to read and get it in a text box. I am aware that there is a lot of additional content on the website and app, videos and audio, and many more articles, and I use that too, but in my opinion the best experience of this outstanding newspaper is what you get from this app.

### 5/5 — First Class

*2026-08-24, version 3.34.04*

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

### 2/5 — App doesn’t work well

*2026-08-23, version 3.34.04*

It interrupts spotify and i cannot find the magazine

### 5/5 — WSJ App

*2026-08-21, version 3.34.04*

Easy use. Use it daily.

### 5/5 — WSJ - Worlds Star Journalists

*2026-08-21, version 3.34.04*

Simply the best daily read.

### 5/5 — Informative and Educational

*2026-08-17, version 3.34.04*

WSJ has always been very educational and informative. App supplements the WSJ reporting in a fantastic manner.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-08-17, version 3.34.04*

Worth every penny. I’ve been reading the Wall Street Journal for decades (since I was in college). This app makes it very convenient to get the news I want, when I want it. The newspaper format and classic layout provides the continuity so many readers have enjoyed throughout their careers.

### 5/5 — Best of both

*2026-08-17, version 3.34.04*

The layout of a print publication is an art form, and informative in its own way. What appears above the fold and how many square inches did the story get are pieces of that enhance the news. The print edition app preserves while adding the convenience of digital access. Love it.

### 5/5 — Best journalism

*2026-08-16, version 3.34.04*

Love reading the WSJ.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Breaks with half screen view

*2026-08-24, version 3.34.04*

Listen up developers: this app needs fixing so that it stops the almost daily screen freeze / partial screen view. Perhaps AI will fix what you couldn’t do one and for all.

### 1/5 — Good way to receive WSJ online

*2026-05-15, version 3.30.0*

Very convenient

### 1/5 — PLEASE enable autofill on Ipad

*2026-04-05, version 3.30.0*

For autofill of user id & pw when logging in. Please, please, please…..

### 1/5 — Something has gone wrong with the app

*2026-02-11, version 3.28.00*

There is something wrong with the app; the last few days I’ll click on something and it opens not what I clicked on, but an article several pages in advance in the next section. For instance, today I clicked on Pepper and Salt on page A16 and it opened an item on page B6.

### 1/5 — Not ready for prime time

*2025-12-30, version 3.18.07*

Very buggy and annoying UI. Cannot leave feedback in the app on issues encountered while attempting to read the paper. I have read WSJ on my laptop instead

### 1/5 — What did you do?

*2025-12-22, version 3.18.07*

Not sure what WSJ did to this app (or how the think people use this…often without a constant internet connection). Often times I have used it to read while on a flight. This used to work great. Lately however, you get a few pages and then it’s all blurry. This despite all the settings for offline reading and double checking that the edition has downloaded. Not good, WSJ.

### 1/5 — Unstable and therefore unreadable

*2025-10-15, version 3.18.07*

This app constantly freezes and crashes while doing simple things like scrolling text.

For a newspaper, not being able to read without crashing or freezing, is a pretty big failing.

It seems to me the WSJ tech team has been focused on adding video, media, and other unnecessary fluff, at the expense of their core product now no longer working.

### 1/5 — App Updated Goof

*2025-09-30, version 3.18.07*

Your print addition was a five star but is now a two star in my opinion. The content is great, but the app is horrible.

### 1/5 — 9-23-2025. WSJ App Crashes

*2025-09-23, version 3.18.07*

I cannot finish reading an article before the WSJ app crashes. I have a print edition at home. However, I like to read the digital subscription when I’m traveling. That is no longer an option. This company., Dow Jones, needs to fix it ASAP.

### 1/5 — App crashes continuously

*2025-09-23, version 3.18.07*

I updated the current app yesterday. I cannot use the Wall Street Journal app today because it crashes continuously whatever was done in the update had consequences that affected my subscription.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — This is excellent

*2026-09-04, version 3.34.04*

Love being able to read the “print version” this way.

### 5/5 — Worth every dollar!

*2026-09-04, version 3.34.04*

Still well-written and chock-full of sound advice, both financially and for daily living. I’ve subscribed for 40 years and I’m seldom disappointed.

### 5/5 — WSJ Print Edition

*2026-09-03, version 3.34.04*

Excellent news coverage

### 5/5 — The Source

*2026-09-03, version 3.34.04*

Intelligent coverage of newsworthy subjects, app works flawlessly (uh mostly), I remember Walter Cronkite

### 5/5 — Convenient access to WSJ

*2026-09-03, version 3.34.04*

For anyone who doesn’t need the physical paper or a large screen, the iPhone app of the Wall Street Journal is an excellent way to read the daily newspaper. Very functional. Easy to read.

### 5/5 — WSJ App

*2026-09-02, version 3.34.04*

My day starts with this app..... enough said.

### 5/5 — Versatility

*2026-09-01, version 3.34.04*

I really like the different options that the app has. It makes the WSJ even more enjoyable!

### 5/5 — Good old times

*2026-09-01, version 3.34.04*

Nice to be able to see the first page of the WSJ like the old times, quickly grabbing what’s important and putting away the feeling that I would have missed something important by turning offline breaking news notifications.

### 5/5 — Best newspaper app!

*2026-08-31, version 3.34.04*

You almost feel that you have the paper in your hands. Super intuitive and user friendly, makes you think hard as of why are you keeping the subscription to the print edition. Enjoy it immensely.

### 5/5 — Self-employed

*2026-08-30, version 3.34.04*

We read the WSJ daily, along with our local paper. The WSJ provides the best coverage and editorials of any newspaper in the world.
