Eventually I moved away from the area and no longer had access to my favorite station. Now with this app, I can once again listen to what is, in my opinion, one of the great radio stations in the whole country. Unlike most other “public” radio stations, WSMC has avoided the drift into all talk, news, and opinion (which is available in so many places) and has stuck to offering food for the soul in the form of great and timeless music (which has become harder and harder to find). The wide range of emotions and styles that a piece evokes, as well as the calm serenity that sets in is like nothing else. Having a job where I can sometimes listen to the radio, finding their station was a godsend to get through the day. The app works well and is a good way of listening along at home when I’m in the mood.
