I want important breaking news- that’s it. *2026-02-05* I’ve had the app 1 day to see how it was with news notifications, and after 24 hours I’ve just been flooded. There is no way to get specific types of notifications. I just want big important news (big, should be a rare thing) if and when it happens. Instead, it’s endless traffic and small stories that I’m not interested in. ### 2/5 — Updates *2025-05-19* Too bad you took out ability to save locations/cities where our relatives live so we can share weather news. Lightning strike notifications are at least 5-10 minutes after it has occurred. Severe thunderstorms are already in progress or have passed when notifications are issued. The problem is at times the app doesn’t stream the news. There is an oops message. What is that! Also the number of commercials run into the next live feed. Sometimes cutting off entire features. I have deleted the app and reinstalled twice but it did not fix it. Really frustrated that I am unable to report this issue. And the STIRR app you keep promoting isn’t working either.... would be nice to watch the news again on the morning during my workout. :/. People are getting way too greedy with their ads lately. I won’t be bound to them. We do not need notifications every 5-10 minutes, sometimes less than that. Ever heard the story of the boy that cried wolf? I can’t be the only person ignoring the majority of these notifications due to the annoying frequency. We’re likely to miss something important because there is so much junk coming through. If it doesn’t stop, I’ll be forced to go elsewhere for my local news. ### 1/5 — Latest version locks up on loading *2025-11-26* I’ve been using this app for several years to keep track of local news. The new update isn’t working. Starts to load the first screen then locks up. I tried deleting the app from my phone and downloading it again from the App Store with the same results. They should test a new release before issuing it. Yesterday almost every other story was anti- President/ anti-American. It was so noticeable and disconcerting. Why can’t our local stations just report the news without leaning one way...& one way only! I realize national news has been leaning left for a long time- reporting only certain events, half- truths, and exaggerated stories many times not true. I expected more from my local news and have always liked ABC6 but I refuse to watch Or experience your app any longer!
