Excessive Notifications
Stop the insanity! We do not need notifications every 5-10 minutes, sometimes less than that. Ever heard the story of the boy that cried wolf? I can’t be the only person ignoring the majority of these notifications due to the annoying frequency. We’re likely to miss something important because there is so much junk coming through. If it doesn’t stop, I’ll be forced to go elsewhere for my local news.

Way too many notifications. I want important breaking news- that’s it.
I’ve had the app 1 day to see how it was with news notifications, and after 24 hours I’ve just been flooded. There is no way to get specific types of notifications. I just want big important news (big, should be a rare thing) if and when it happens. Instead, it’s endless traffic and small stories that I’m not interested in.

Latest version locks up on loading
I’ve been using this app for several years to keep track of local news. The new update isn’t working. Starts to load the first screen then locks up. I tried deleting the app from my phone and downloading it again from the App Store with the same results. They should test a new release before issuing it. I’m using an IPhone 11 with IOS 1.8.6
