But when it comes to national news it’s the same lies and propaganda that earned the title, Fake News. According to the article published, James Comey is being charged because he is Trump’s political adversary. It says that the charges are for lying to congress, but they then say that the charges are regarding the investigation into Russian election interference. That’s not exact true though, is it. They accused Trump of colluding with Russia and even fabricated the Steele Dossier. I quit reading the art when it said that multiple government investigations showed that Russian tampered with the election to help Republicans. The question I keep asking myself is, do these people believe their own lies because they’re so wrapped up in their cult and are completely brainwashed, or are they just evil people who don’t care that their lies have caused so many innocent people to die and unleashed such pain and suffering on this world and this nation? Wanda Gordon ### 2/5 — Slow to load *2022-09-26* Most of the time when I want to watch live, the commercials load just fine but IF the actual news broadcast loads, it cuts in and out or stops altogether. Reopening brings up the annoying commercials again. I have restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app but the problem is still there. New app is awful, unless you want news, weather, and missing child reports for other states. What a waste - the old format was much better. I miss being able to watch repeats of earlier shows when I missed the live show. I’m also tired of counting the comb marks in the new anchors hair. ### 1/5 — Ad Farm *2021-05-13* Update: the app is now basically unusable. There are so many interstitial popup ads that you can’t really use the app. The app navigation makes no sense at all. The app has progressively gotten worse over time. The UI looks like it was designed by a fifth grader and there is so much ad and promoted content that you have to search for the news stories. Other local news network apps are much better. Try WSAV. ### 1/5 — What a mess! *2021-05-12, version 6.6.7* How can you develop an app THIS bad?!? In 2021, no less! This app is a total joke. It’s terrible. I thought it might’ve just been me, or my phone. But I read many other reviews that have the same problems with it as I do. I understand it probably cost a fair money to have it developed right... but you’re losing a lot of folks, like myself, who are fed up with trying to navigate this mess of an app. And it’s not like this is the first you’re hearing this. The app had sucked for a long time now. Do better WTOC! You’re supposed to be a leader in the Low Country. WTOC *2026-03-23, version 8.0.2* I just deleted this app. I WANTED TO WATCH THE NEWS, but a Starlink pop-up appeared and had no way to dismiss it. I closed & reopened the app; the same pop-up appeared. ### 1/5 — To many popup commercials *2026-03-22, version 8.0.2* The new update has to many commercials popups and when reading a news story a commercial popups and when you close the commercials the app doesn’t go back to news story.Go back to the main page. Plus the commercials popups when you close them it automatically takes you to their website.
