Good training for advancing up to a professional level. Bad news for locals having to endure. ### 1/5 — Too many ads before the newscast starts *2024-02-05* I opened the app on Monday morning at 7:00 to watch the live local news. It’s 7:24 and all I’ve seen are ads. Ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Uninstalling - Unskippable Full-Screen Ads *2023-03-23* Recently updated the app and I have unskippable receive ads covering my entire screen. Remove this garbage. I imagine this is also prevalent on the WTVA Weather app. I get that your primary customers are out of touch and tech-illiterate country bumpkins but these anti-consumer tactics need to be called out for what they are. Get a grip. Whoever is in charge of these apps are a joke. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2023-02-09, version 6.3* Even on excellent Wi-Fi, video occasionally freezes. When clicking the Livestream button, it won’t rotate consistently. App closes sometimes when I try to view while using other apps. Works better when I tap the menu then tap Watch Now. But that’s 2 taps opposed to one when you tap Livestream. ### 1/5 — on demand never works *2022-07-01, version 6.2* the video for live demand stalls, freezes, then goes black. you have to restart the entire newscast. please someone fix this ### 1/5 — Typical WTVA *2021-12-11* This app doesn’t work and has never worked with any consistency. This station does not have enough server capacity. Like everything they do; half measures and Mickey Mouse.
