Can not even send in a complaint!! ### 1/5 — Awful *2020-01-03, version 3.2.8* Had the number three on my app icon for notifications. Needs to be fixed ASAP! ### 1/5 — More advertisements than news *2019-03-04* Seriously, this app seems to be better focused and designed for generating advertising revenue instead of what is more important, like breaking news and emergencies within our communities. With the tornadoes that tore across Alabama yesterday killing more than 20 people there was only 1, ONE, singular form of an article relevant to the disaster. And that thoughtful gem consisted of 4 substance lacking paragraphs. I’m sure a 5th grader could have done better.. Bottom line, I’m constantly disappointed with the lacking content, lack of relevant timing and lack of proper management of this platform. ### 1/5 — Notifications? *2015-10-23, version 2.0.3* How about actually using the breaking news notifications. I mean what's the point in having the capability if you don't use them? Look at WSFA for a model...not hard. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2014-12-24, version 1.11* Installed this in case of bad wether. There were tornado warnings in the area last night, but nothing at all on the app. Even this morning, there is nothing on the app about the storms. Too much repeating stories. What are your reporters there for, just read from the teleprompter? Get them out in the community!! Do not like your merge with WSFA. Hardly any local weather on weekends. I get more local news on WDHN, channel 18!!!!! ### 1/5 — Unusable *2023-05-15, version 4.0.7* Early 2023 full page ads started popping up when you opened the app, when you click the X to leave, it opens up a link to an advertisement. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The ad is impossible to close making the app unusable. My device is an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I’ve never had issues before they started putting ads upon opening the app. ### 1/5 — Annoying ads *2023-05-08, version 4.0.7* I’ve used this app for years, but the addition of annoying ads at startup has caused me to delete it. Wiregrass area has lots of crime but it is rarely shown online. I have read and opened everything I can find on the app to try and clear it and I’ve also completely deleted and reinstalled the app but the “1” returned.
