## What is Wuji Incense?

With so much going on in the world, sometimes it's nice to just sit for a moment and stop being productive.

Wuji Incense is a meditation timer. You pick how long you want to sit — five minutes to an hour, then pick a soundscape —or silence— then tap Begin. A stick of incense lights up on your screen and burns down in real time as your timer. That's most of what there is to say.

WHAT IT ISN'T
There are no streaks, No tracking, No coach voice telling you what to do, No celebrity narrators, No social feed, No accounts and No subscriptions.
If you've tried Calm or Headspace and felt like you were being optimized, this is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL HEAR
Thirteen ambient soundscapes, each mastered carefully for meditation (not streaming-loud): Forest at dusk. A lake's shoreline. A spring meadow at dawn. Rain. Thunder. Ocean. Night with cicadas. Indian bansuri flute (Himalayas). Tibetan monks chanting. A crystal singing bowl. Drift — slow ambient pads. White noise. Or just Silence.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE
A real incense stick, burning down in real time. The smoke rises and curls. When you tilt your phone, the smoke leans with it — a small thing that makes the whole moment feel real.

A FEW DETAILS
— Session lengths from five minutes to an hour, plus a Timeless option that runs until the stick burns down on its own.
— Background audio with lock-screen controls. Start a session, lock the phone, walk away. The stick keeps burning.
— Real haptic feedback at the start chime, pause, resume, and the ending bell.
— Auto-lock disabled during sessions, so the screen stays awake.
— Works on iPhone and iPad.
— No accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics. Nothing leaves your device.

A GIFT FROM ME TO YOU
Wuji Incense is free, and it always will be. I made it because I wanted somewhere quiet to sit, and I'd love for you to have one too. If your practice deepens and you want guided sessions or longer sits, the other apps in the Wuji family are here when you're ready.

Begin when you're ready.

### 5/5 — So lovely!

*2026-05-29*

This app is so great! It’s so user friendly and classy. It’s so great to use at night in the dark with just the incense stick burning on the screen. But anytime really. I love that you can change the sound depending on your mood. I’m def going to be using this all the time.

### 5/5 — Simple concept, great results

*2026-05-29*

I love how clean and simple the app is. One thing that’s really cool is when you move around your phone you can see the smoke from the incense move with it. I feel like this really helps me keep focus and block out my environment. Excited to build a habit with this.

### 5/5 — Wiki Incense

A bigger, quieter Incense.
Thirteen all-new ambient soundscapes, each mastered carefully for meditation — not streaming-loud. Forest at dusk. Himalayas. A spring meadow at dawn. Rain, thunder, ocean, a crystal singing bowl, and more. Or just Silence.
— Timeless sessions. Pick a length, or let the stick burn until you stop it.
— Set it down. Background audio keeps a session going when you lock the phone or switch apps, with controls on the lock screen and AirPods.
— Live Activity. See your session on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island — glance at it without unlocking.
— Home screen widgets. Start a session in one tap. Bigger widgets add quick lengths and a few favorite presets.
— The smoke responds to your phone. Tilt it, and the smoke leans with you.
— A larger iPad layout, with a bowl resting below the stick.
— The screen stays awake while the stick burns.
Still free. Still no streaks, no tracking, no subscription. Begin when you're ready.
