Though Wukong app is a lot worse than the web version, it still helped me learn new math lessons that weren't taught in school. Chinese homework is painful, the part were you record your voice doesnt work properly. Seeing my chinese homework have mulitple wrong answers when i voiced it when my mom literally said it was correct, made me pretty mad. The fact that I cannot go to class in the app version gave me a lot of tardies before i knew what was going on. Personally i would prefer the web version over the app version, (and I've had made complaints about the homework in web version too) since it is way more suitable for me, since I'm an Mac user. I feel like bugs can occur often while doing homework, so WuKong can improve on that. I also think that WuKong Math teaches well but not the right things, e.g Train time and passing. When you pay you paid the class as example 12 class (around 41nzd per class) when requested refund they will add free class even if included class your recommend friend to join. Then the refund of each class down to $19nzd each class. Bad design with owner of class leader who change every month. Every month someone call you to repeat same thing about your kid. One of them even disappeared without any message or handover. Hard to find them communication with issues. Lots of fake “marketing” promises which ended up not delivered. When I bought the math class package, I was told that if I cannot use all of them, I can transfer the credit to Chinese class or English class, or to a sibling. However when I truly needed that, I was told they don’t allow it. I was also asked to provide screenshots and show who made that promise. However, a lot of the chats were done on phone call and why do I need to keep track of everything told. their teachers also change every 3-4 months and I was handed over to many different PoCs. -Their own teachers don’t even stay with them - so you can tell something about their services. ### 1/5 — Makes you commit to large ahh packages *2026-03-29* It makes you buy packages for yearly classes or whatever and you can’t even cancel it or get your money back when you lose interest and don’t want to do it anymore. Now, the sharing process not only requires uploading personal photos, but also requires each child in the same family to share separately and upload individually into the system. Even though parents only have one account and sharing once should be sufficient, the process has become extremely complicated. Because of this, we will not renew the courses in the future. ### 1/5 — This app is terrible, how can it be used for learning?! *2025-12-16* I would rate it zero, or even negative, stars if possible. This app never uploads quick enough, and I always experience problems whilst doing homework. Additionally, whenever I try the Help Centre, the feedback never comes up, and instead kicks me out of the app, forcing me to redo all my homework.
