## What is WUSF Public Media App?

The WUSF App allows you to listen to all of WUSF’s programs. The app provides On-Demand content of all your favorite shows, live streaming of the radio channels, WUSF 89.7 and Classical WSMR 89.1 and 103.9 in addition to FM Radio Schedules. Easily explore additional content.

Live Streaming:
• Listen to live streams from WUSF even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing. 
• One Click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another channel with a single click.
• Listen to WUSF in the background while browsing the Web or catching up on your emails!

On Demand:
• Access WUSF’s programs easily and quickly. 
• Access WUSF’s Florida Matters Live & Local podcast, and The Bay Blend podcast. 
• DVR-like controls Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease.

I have it on my ancient iPad as well as my iPhone 17. It stopped working on both after the recent redesign. No amount of stroking or poking the play button makes it work. I’ve gone back to the TuneIn Radio app.

I use this app because WSMR isn’t strong enough to get to my radio in St. Pete 😞 Some days it works, other days it gets stuck forever in “buffering” (even when I take it out of memory). The app support link doesn’t work, so I am posting this even though I’d rather contact support. And why does the new update have a kangaroo for the icon instead of the WUSF one?

It’s quite amazing that this broadcaster who has creative/intellectual resources available from a state university can’t design a better app. Instead it diverts users attention to a splashvert for Arts Axios (main$tream fart museums). This is a confusing GUI pictographic array that often dead ends into a black page. And then needs a restart. Like the station itself...
