I just wish the battery life was longer. And if I were to make a suggestion to make the device/app 5 stars, I wish that there was a way to have the thumbnail issue a warning-(like how texts let you know you have 5msgs waiting for you.) WUUK can put an orange/red warning like an exclamation mark to remind us that our device is running low, or completely out of battery. I do receive notifications- but I forget about them. If there is something that pops up when battery is low like 10%, to zero , and stays on the thumbnail until it is recharged, that would take this next level. ### 2/5 — Average camera system with optional off-line use *2026-04-27, version 4.2.4* The stated resolution is a complete lie and is not HD in the slightest. The tracking system is mid at best and almost never records beyond 30 or so seconds even if you are using it for communication. The app is completely horrible to use. It has no ability to easily find recorded events. Nach einem Neustart des Handys funktioniert es kurzfristig, dann jedoch nicht mehr. Einen Neustart möchte ich nicht ständig durchführen. Die App habe ich gelöscht und neu installiert. Fehler ist weiterhin vorhanden. Diesen Fehler habe ich beim iPhone und beim iPad festgestellt. ### 3/5 — 4.0.8 update issues? *2024-10-01, version 4.0.8* Wuuk app software updated to 4.0.8 recently. No events recorded on the device since then. After looking at every setting, it seems the doorbell device setting “Motion” had been switched off. I did NOT do this. I suspect it was included (by mistake?) in 4.0.8. I also noticed that the “power consumption” has been “0” for the last two days. Checking the video feed to my phone, it works fine and gives me a clear, updating picture. Perhaps this is because the motion detection had been disabled. I am also having problems updating the firmware for the doorbell - possibly another 4.0.8 issue. Everything has otherwise worked fine for quite a few months. ### 4/5 — Canera *2024-09-23, version 4.0.7* Great camera motion can be available. Notification can be sometimes slow, but not all the time. ### 1/5 — Unit connection dropping and poor service *2024-09-14, version 4.0.6* Noticeable issues with the bell unit dropping the connection getting constant p2p 63 errors. Also charge appears to be draining quicker than it used to. Only way is to wake unit up is to take it off the door and press reset. I did charge it to make sure that wasn’t the issue. It works for a day or so But it’s happened again at 72% which is draining quicker than usual? I have raise numerous chat msgs and service tickets without any reply/response. The service side was always good and very efficient. What has happened there is no one available except for a chat bot?? Am I going to have to look for another product. Looks like if no one can help resolve these issues ### 2/5 — Can’t turn off notifications per device *2024-09-03* Notification settings are set on the app and are pushed to all devices it seems, so even if I have no notifications whatsoever on for this app on my phone, I still get full screen motifications that interrupt what I’m doing because a bird pooped in front of the camera or a spider crawled across it. I reported this to Apple as it seems like a breach of privacy or something like that. If I turn off notifications in my settings, there should be no possibility of an app sending me notifications. Full stop. ### 1/5 — War mal ganz gut… *2024-08-05* …. Leider gehen die Kameras mittlerweile immer wieder offline. Der Grund ist für mich nicht ersichtlich. Dafür zahle ich Abo für vier Kameras, weil ich mich absichern möchte. Aber mit Kameras, die grundlos offline sind, gibt es nur leider keine Sicherheit. Werde mich nach einem anderen Produkt beziehungsweise Anbieter umsehen. Schade. Kann nur jedem (momentan zu mindestens) von diesem Produkt abraten. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Too hard to pair!!!! *2026-07-23, version 4.2.4* I’ve owned a tilt and pan camera for a few years and it suddenly stopped working and it wouldn’t reboot from the app or let me check the wifi so I deleted it to add again. I tried 3 times to scan the qr code and listening to “waiting to pair” over and over and over again. I enlarged the code and kept moving it back and forth but it won’t scan. I forgot I had trouble the first time pairing it but not this bad. I will be buying something else that is easier to set up ### 1/5 — Was good… *2026-03-14, version 4.2.4* Had a great detection range and then either after aging devices or updates the detection range turned into 10ft max, what a joke. AOSU will be my go to for cameras now. ### 1/5 — Horrible “customer service” *2025-12-02, version 4.2.3* Their cameras are pretty decent IF you can get them to scan and connect… I’ve had multiple that just will not connect no matter what I do! Crazy because I recently bought a 2 pack of pant tilt cameras and one of them scanned immediately and connected with no issue. The second however will not scan or connect. I’ve tried to contact consumer striving multiple times with NO reply! Their customer service phone number always says there’s no one to assist at this moment. If you have any issues you’re pretty much SOL. I NEVER get notifications even tho I have every single notification type possible on. When I first connected it I got notifications and then they stopped completely. Setting up everything was great and straightforward and most difficult part was trying to workout where would be a good spot for the solar panels to charge the camera. Good thing the app was really receptive and was able to update when it was charging vs not so i could decide where/when to mount it. I think the app developer has put some thought and effort into making this stand out. Love the automatic response buttons and voice modulator.
