I had the app long before this subscription thing went on and when they switched I paid, I believed there was a price for a good book. Now I can’t, you pay a subscription fee and every page is locked behind a pay wall. For this price I’ll find it online. ### 4/5 — Please fix AI auto next chapter *2025-12-02* I am a user of this app and typically use ai to read a majority of my books this is a great app but lately the auto next chapter hasn’t been working leading me to have to flip from chapter to chapter manually I work 25/8 so typically I don’t have time to continuously run back and forth from my phone besides this issue I have none with the app great for creative readers and open minded people also bring back the Nicki voice for self reading AI please **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. You can use their currency thing to unlock an entire novel but you don’t get to download the novel to read it offline unless you pay money, which would’ve unlocked all the chapters. Thank you for your continued support! ### 4/5 — Great but… *2025-01-18* It’s a great app however It doesn’t have many female protagonist stories and most of the ones they do have have bad reviews. Also I only read completed stories so I can’t take advantage of the “champion” feature. Wish like with the champion feature there were a $5 and up subscription to choose where we could get points and free access to a story chosen by us for like a month or something. Maybe more stories depending on the subscription. And if we don’t use the free story or points that month it could stack. Have had other reading apps where if you don’t use the points they go away even if you still have the subscription so I cancelled the subscription it was a waste of money. But i like collecting the cultivation keys even if in not reading that day im logging in. Why did you guys reset me back to normal reader. And dont say its because i didnt log in i log in multiple times everyday. I even know when you guys reset the timer (7pm est). I was billed 300BRL for one subscription and decided to upgrade to one of 600BRL 2 hours after that, now I have paid 900BRL total and lost the first 300BRL. Apple says its not refundable while it's clearly an issue with how the app had set up. Thank you for your continued support! ### 1/5 — Money ruined the app *2024-11-26* Previously I would say Wuxiaworld was the best reading app for web novels, especially with their monopoly on big name novels. However since they started introducing as many ways to make you pay for nothing new, the apps started going downhill. Keys, karma, subscriptions and championing - add nothing to your experience but cost real world money. Subscriptions. Not worth it. Unless you get diamond, but £20 per month for 2/3 books and you can find newer chapters on other sites. Just cancelled my VIP account because Support is useless. App is constantly buggy. ### 1/5 — Randomly Logged me off. Can’t log back in *2024-10-10, version 2.3.0* The app randomly logged me off while reading and switching to the next chapter.. now I’m trying to log back in and it won’t let me.. keeps acting as if logging in then stays on log in screen.. i had a bunch of credits and now no access. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous update *2024-10-10* Cultivation keys? Karma thrown out the window? Leaving comments, you know, interacting with the community, doesn’t increase your karma anymore? You have to read NEW chapters to key “keys”? And yet unlocking chapters requires karma, which doesn’t seem to increase; I took a screenshot of before and after commenting and nada… nothing. What if some people, like myself, are only interested in a couple of novels? Are we punish for not reading more novels by not being able to “read 10 new chapters “ to get 4 “keys”? Always going back ways, eh Wuxiaworld, and never forwards. 😂🙂‍↔️. You’ve seen the mass of low quality novels your site has been signing off on, and how some are so badly translated (e.g The Sovereign’s Ascension is the most egregious of them all), and you want people to read more when the quality is getting worse? Now when we spend Karma, we permanently lose Karma, as we can’t earn it by commenting. Does that make sense? ### 1/5 — 2.2.11 *2024-09-24, version 2.2.11* This version is so glitchy. 2.2.10 was perfect. There’s no long pause after each paragraph when you have the speed on 1.75x. With the new version, it pauses every paragraph which is so annoying. The app crashes here and there. Give us back version 2.2.10 or fix this bug. Daily logins and missions give you 10+ Keys for free every day. If you want to pay to buy Karma, there are no predatory bulk discounts encouraging you to pay the maximum amount for the best price—all options are 1,000 Karma = $5. This model is simple and fair for consumers, the best I’ve seen in the industry. ### 5/5 — Perfect *2025-11-27* If you love this genre, you will be more than satisfied with this site and find reasonable translations into English. Much better now ### 5/5 — Probably one of the only good apps for reading *2024-10-31* 1. It’s official translation meaning you don’t have to worry about the series suddenly stopping 2. Despite the fact that binge reading a new series is harder then it used to be it’s not bad, staying caught up on a small number of series is incredibly simple 3. It looks nice, some reading apps i have tried are filled with bad design decisions and terrible ui but this is a balance between modern and simple 4. The lack of pop up ads, video ads and trying to force you to spend money is nice Overall this app is the perfect balance for people that want to read Korean and Chinese novels without the pain that comes with some official or unofficial translation sites and apps **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. I used to read using the browser on my phone and I would have like 20 tabs open. Now I can get updates for all my favourite novels. I try to recommend this to almost all my friends.
