When I went back in my notes were blank. ### 2/5 — DO NOT USE NOTES SECTION DURING LECTURES!!! *2021-09-06, version 2.3* I’ve had some issues at loading things but once it was up and running it was ok. The scheduling function works great and very easy to see where I’m supposed to go and when. The biggest problem I had was the notes section. First day of using this function and now- TWICE- an entire lecture’s worth of notes VANISHED without a trace. No warning. No way to retrieve the notes. Basically just wasted two sessions. I’m moving back to written notes tomorrow. ### 2/5 — Falls short *2019-02-21, version 1.92* Love the lay out. The premise behind everything is great. But it’s soooo slow to load. And if it “thinks” too long, it’ll glitch and close out. Then I had to start the process over again. If it could be sped up and stream lined, it’d get a 5star. ### 2/5 — Ughhh *2019-02-20, version 1.92* The app logged me out at least 8 times a day. Scheduled my lectures for the day, then entire schedule deleted itself in the afternoon. Stick to paper schedule. Vet Detective and the attendee profile is pretty neat. 2 stars since those last 2 things are fun, zero for anything related to lectures. ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2017-03-07, version 1.4* More user friendly since the last time I attended the conference. Exporting slides is very clumsy. Why can I tweet the slides but the content is cut offwhen I export them from eventbrite site? It would take a day sometimes to add the sessions I attended, would miss some, and would add some I didn’t attend 2023 version: App doesn’t list what’s full or CE hours so had to go back and forth with the website which is much more cumbersome to use. Audience listing sometimes differs between the two. Within the app or website they are each inconsistent with the information they provide. App also almost always makes me sign in each time I go to it, even often if I leave it open. Then sometimes my data not there. Regards, CadmiumCD ### 1/5 — Do better next time *2023-02-21* Why do I have to log in each time? This is ridiculous! There should be a way to look at whole day at a time or scan the week together. Doesn’t show how to get ce. Most lectures don’t have notes or don’t have easy link how to find them. Can’t figure out how to save the notes that I did get. Very poor design. Worst conference app yet. ### 1/5 — Very buggy, Always kicks you out *2022-03-09, version 2.4* Barely functionable ### 1/5 — This app is garbage *2021-09-07, version 2.3* The app frequently freezes and in order to access your own notes you have to go to each individual content session, which causes delays. IF there are no handouts included for a particular session, your own notes are stuck in the app - you will get a blank email if you try to send yourself the PDF with notes. The map doesn’t even include every room where sessions are held, so planning ahead is a joke. The “messages” can only be cleared as read if you open each one, when I’d rather mark them all as read since the subject typically explains enough info for me to know that I do/don’t need to open them. DO BETTER VITICUS. ### 1/5 — Messages *2021-09-07, version 2.3* Listen, messages should be relevant and important. You use them for shameless marketing purposes, and for repetition of unimportant things. For example, I got like four messages, (at least), that there were some extra blue man group tix yesterday from say 12 noon to 5 pm. Same sender. C’mon. If you are going to do messaging like this, then there should be an opt out button. Shameless marketing tools? That’s not what messaging should be about either. Zoetis! C’mon! And there should be a search button under somewhere to see if we can find each other to message them, see if they are in attendance. Maybe there is already? If so, there should be directions how to use. Thanks? Also, the app could be organized much simpler and better! Wow. ### 1/5 — Notes *2019-05-09, version 1.92* Unable to view course notes despite the app showing the notes were downloaded. Unable to make notes directly on the course notes. Can’t access the downloaded notes after course either. Fairly useless app, only thing was good for was the course schedule, that’s it. **Developer response:** hi %windwhistle, We're sorry to hear that you had trouble downloading and using slides. Usually when you download the slides and then click on them again it will open them up and give you the ability to mark on them with the pen and highlighter or take additional notes. We hope you enjoyed your conference otherwise! ### 1/5 — Hmmmm *2019-02-13, version 1.92* Nice but: Unable to easily print schedule by day as overview of what is going on. Ok as long a I can access iPad app during meetings. Some of the slides are not printing eg on Sunday lecture of cat cancers stops downloading After page 4. Notes are overall very summarized. Since there are so many lectures of interest every hour, it would be awesome if the actual slides/detailed notes of presenters were available for those lectures missed, but still of interest. ### 2/5 — Log in inconsistent *2023-03-19* I lover the premise of this app. However, the log in process is inconsistent. I get different pages and processes each time and it takes a long time to get logged on. Ron ### 2/5 — Rudimentary Functions *2023-02-20* The app logs you out and you have to log in almost every time AND manually enter you log in and password. I would up taking a screenshot of all my lectures just to avoiding logging into the app. The click through mechanism and interface is elementary. It is essentially VIN as an app, which is NOT a good thing. My wife is is tech and marketing and I showed her the app. She thinks that veterinary medicine as a whole is consistently behind in technology and marketing and this is a perfect example. ### 2/5 — Keeps crashing *2022-03-09, version 2.4* Constantly have to reopen app at least once or twice when attempting to retrieve info ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Convenient and priceless tool *2018-03-09, version 1.6* The ability to look up the lectures in the program grid then highlight them as a favorite made navigating to the next lecture a breeze. If the location name did not include the long “Mandalay Bay Convention Center” but just the name of the actual room it would show clearly on the front page of the grid. All in all- very helpful :) ### 5/5 — Seems to get better every year *2018-03-02, version 1.6* Every year the APP makes it easier to navigate conference, get notes and interact with everyone at conference. Now the APP is year round instead of just for conference. ### 4/5 — Great upgrades and easy use *2020-02-22, version 2.1* Really enjoyed this version. Easy to access and navigate, updates and notices were delivered real time and very helpful (notices on parking vs getting towed, free lunches, etc). I really liked accessing the notes on my tablet and writing additional into it. I also enjoyed that I could access my Certificate through the app as well.
