It looks and feels like a janky Android app. I’d really like them to make an iOS first app, that looks and feels like an iPhone app, with the corresponding speed and responsiveness. Some companies have a policy of using one compromised version to serve iOS/iPadOS and Android, but it’s almost always a design mess. Apple makes so many amazing API’s available for devs. I really hope they develop a version that serves the most popular, most respected platform in America (iPhone) first. I know it’s public radio, but someday, the app may be the main way people interact with the station and it is worth investing in.
