In fact, at some times, it is impossible to use because you can't keep the ads away. The ad free version is great, however, if you don't mind laying out a few bucks for the purchase. The only problem I have with it is that IF it allows you to ask for words incorporating one or more letters at beginning or ending, it is not at all clear how to use that feature. The app seems to have been updated to match more of the accepted words than older versions too. Thanks for that. It has the ability to remember ten racks at once. It also allows the user to display ten letters which comes in handy for utilizing existing letters on the board. This app also includes a dictionary for those who doubt the authenticity of a word - very handy the few times I've needed it. I would like to see an option for using existing board letters in their placement order. I had the letters: DUNKLAG. The results did not list ‘KULAN’ as an option. This has happened many times. For starters, even though called WWF Lookup, it must use a different dictionary than WWF. For example, this app says "Iraq" is a viable word, but it won't play in WWF. The interface is generally a bit clunky. I also experience frequent crashes on ios 5 and above. The app needs to have some way to identify Racks 1-10 with a custom name. Sorting buttons near the top of the screen and forward/back buttons are too small and often result in tapping the wrong button and going somewhere you don't want to go. I have contacted the developer on this and have never heard a word. Just updated to the paid version and am so pleased. There are 10 boards you can utilize for the games you are playing. Just put in your letters and it gives you a variety of words to use. You can use the space bar to put in a blank tile. It gives you more options. Also you can add a letter from the board to see if you can place on that letter. Also the lookup page is a great tool. Here too use the space bar before or after your word and it will help you place letters to an existing word on the board. You can organize your words with 3 options: word, length, or score.
