### 2/5 — Poor battery performance, good idea

*2024-03-03, version 0.8.7*

Drains battery too quickly when leaving on for prolonged period of time in the background

### 2/5 — Drained battery from 98 to 0

*2023-11-25, version 0.7.9*

I really want to like this app because it’s a great idea. We all downloaded it for drumsheds and it was good for finding each other. I put my phone in my pocket while we were dancing and an hour later my battery was 100% dead. I ended up having to pay £10 to get a portable charger for 20 mins to get me enough charge to get home. Overall it left me in a more dangerous situation than if I hadn’t downloaded the app as I need my phone to get home from the middle of nowhere. I literally would have been better off having never got the app. Until they sort the battery draining issues it is not at all worth it. More dangerous than going without.

### 1/5 — Drained battery and doesn’t work

*2023-11-12, version 0.7.7*

You need location services on for it to work so if completely drained my battery throughout the day. I went from 90% to 30% in a matter of hours whilst barely on my phone! On top of that the all doesn’t even work, even when all of us had signal and had the app open it wouldn’t show where eachother was.

### 1/5 — Absolutely crap

*2023-10-28, version 0.7.5*

Downloaded this app to use at drumsheds
Didn’t work and drained my phone battery in a few hours!
Ended up losing some of my friends and phoneless.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work & drains battery

*2023-10-22, version 0.7.4*

Tested when we first got to drumsehds, had signal and it wasn’t busy, seemed to work. As soon as it was busy and didn’t have signal it doesn’t work at all. Battery also drained in no time

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-10-22, version 0.7.4*

All you get is a black screen with dots that keep moving round, even though we were all stood together it was showing us in different places

### 1/5 — Did not work

*2023-10-22, version 0.7.4*

Downloaded it for Drumworks in London, got all our friends to do the same. It didn’t let us send pins or see where are friends we’re in real time, utterly useless, just took precious battery up!

### 2/5 — Don’t use this

*2023-10-18, version 0.7.3*

Used it at Drumsheds, it doesn’t work. The map was never updated and pings weren’t going through.

Even worse, it drained my whole battery in 3 hours so I was then friendless and phoneless, leaving me in a nightmare getting home.

Great idea, a long way off being useful. Why can’t Drumsheds just pay to put Wi-Fi in instead of investing in this app?

### 1/5 — Drumsheds October ‘23

*2023-10-13, version 0.7.3*

I downloaded this app as advised by the organisers or Drumshed. 6 friends in total had the app. The moment we were inside it was extremely unhelpful. I tested it with my friends standing beside me and it was telling me they were at opposite ends of the event site so when I actually needed it there was no hope of finding my friends.

I love the concept of this app but it needs more testing. If this is the suggested app for communication, then the communication needs to work 110%. It can be very dangerous for individuals who are lost solo in big event spaces.

### 1/5 — Do not download - drains battery

*2023-10-09, version 0.7.3*

Downloaded this app ahead of an event - it drained 90% of my battery within a few hours when that would normally last for more than a day

### 2/5 — Stressful

*2023-10-08, version 0.7.3*

You need to make it super obvious how to get a QR code up to share with your friends. Took ages to find this and eventually found it by accident, now I am looking at the app again and cannot see where it is. Defeats the whole point of the app if you can’t actually add anyone due to it being so unclear.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Didn’t work

*2024-11-16, version 1.3.4*

The app didn’t work when we were at Drumshed and couldn’t see any of our friends profiles. It also drained my battery significantly

### 1/5 — Total fail

*2024-09-14, version 1.2*

Cannot add anyone - no results found. Total app fail. 🤷‍♂️

### 1/5 — Didn’t work and drained battery

*2024-04-01, version 0.8.9*

Downloading for Drumsheds, didn’t work at all. Didn’t report correct location of mine or any of my friends locations the whole night. Drained all of our batteries so fast, leaving us with barely any charge to try and get home with once the event ended.

### 1/5 — Don’t get this app

*2024-03-10, version 0.8.7*

This app is horrible to use. The set up is really unintuitive. You’re never 100% sure if you’ve linked with your friends. It said I was but at no point did I see their icons on the map. I got it to use at Drumsheds in London. The app spanks your battery power so my phone died and I ended up in a worse situation than if I’d of not had the app at all. Avoid or recommend it to your worst enemies.

### 1/5 — App don’t work good

*2023-12-17, version 0.8.2*

Was at drumsheds yday and did a bit of this and that. Lost my mates and my marbles and went on WYA (should be wua) to find my mates but couldn’t see my phone to work out where they were, ended up sitting in the toilet for 3 hours until I realised I didn’t come with anyone lol

### 1/5 — Needs some work to be actually useful

*2023-12-10, version 0.8.0*

I really wanted this to work but I think the technology needs some refinement to actually be useful. The mapping definitely does not work. There were multiple times where my friends and I were at a completely different place to where the map showed even though it said our locations were updated seconds ago.

I’d be happy to change my rating if the app improves, but it was quite a pain to get all my friends to download the app, and then getting everyone to request you as a friend is a painful process. So I will not be doing it again and unfortunately can’t recommend it as the main functionality does not work at all.

### 1/5 — Drumsheds goers - don’t use it

*2023-12-03, version 0.7.9*

This app was recommended for an event at Drumsheds. Thought it looked good and downloaded. Didn’t work to locate me or anyone else who’d downloaded it. Rapidly drained battery and had to get home without my phone (no Uber, no Apple Pay, no maps..!)

The event was great tho - False Idols!

App is in beta so I hope that one day it works as conceived cause it’s a good idea.

Until then, save your battery.

If at Drumsheds there is no/poor signal inside but you can get service in the smoking area or on the stairs up from the basement on the northern elevation.

### 1/5 — Why does this App exist?

*2023-11-26, version 0.7.9*

It only works when the venue (Drumsheds London) only had few people, after that, forget it.
My personal dot just disappeared and never came back all day.
Plus it munches power like mad while the App is open, power you need when you really need to find your mates.

### 1/5 — Don’t Waste Your Time

*2023-11-19, version 0.7.8*

App doesnt work, doesnt find people and doesnt even pick up your location! Also drains your battery from 100% to 12% in 8 hours

### 1/5 — Terrible app and drains battery

*2023-11-12, version 0.7.7*

Good concept but doesn’t work and drains battery. Would strongly advise not downloading.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Lifesaver at Drumsheds!

*2023-12-23, version 0.8.2*

WYA app is a lifesaver! Used it at Drumsheds, and it kept our group together in that massive place. No more bathroom trips turning into a mission for the whole gang. Split up, found each other easily. Bluetooth magic and venue maps worked like a charm, even with bad signal spots. Safety and connection vibes are spot-on. WYA made my night stress-free. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — App review

*2023-12-23, version 0.8.2*

When I found out that the event venue (drum sheds) had poor service I just googled apps that would help me find my friends if we ever lost each other in the event and I found WHERE YOU AT. Found it easy to download, register and add all my friends. Safety for everyone especially a women is very important when going out to big events so this app was perfect for me just in case I got lost, in a way it helped me feel a little safer. I highly recommend it!

### 5/5 — Essential!!

*2023-10-11, version 0.7.3*

I used this app at Drumsheds, it was so helpful and helped me find my friends. When I lost them I pressed ping and they found me without signal. It’s a brand new app but I can’t wait till every event is covered by WYA. I feel so much safer going out knowing even when we lose service and wifi that I can find my friends easily on this app. Thank you!!!

### 5/5 — Super cool app

*2023-10-09, version 0.7.3*

Very cool! Really like

### 5/5 — Must have for night outs

*2023-10-07*

I used this app on my visit to the UK and wish places in the US had it as well. Really makes finding your friends in crowded venues effortless! No more desperately calling people for hours and hoping they pick their phone up.

### 5/5 — Useful new app

*2023-10-07, version 0.7.2*

Does what it’s supposed to and makes my life easier. My friends found me straight away.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2022-12-08, version 0.6.3*

Very helpful when you lose your friends in clubs 🤍

### 3/5 — Needs improvement

*2023-12-14, version 0.8.1*

Great concept provided you have battery and your mates do too.

Couldn’t get it show live location. Just semi transparent initials of where they were.

Upon opening you always have to navigate to the map. Or tap the ellipsis menu on a contact to get secondary menu to see where your mates are. Eh?!

Why not make friends visible on launch? Last venue / location / history would be good also.

If you’re close by to mates can one notify another? Or provide hotspots or facilities their close to?
EG: A is looking for you, meet them at B kinda thing. Getting anywhere from Drumsheds is a nightmare at 3am.

Another example is syncing contacts, why not do this over the same tech, not QR but wirelessly NFC / bump phones

Please remove the guess work and optimise fully when people actually need the app to function

### 2/5 — Inaccurate and battery draining

*2024-04-01, version 0.8.9*

This was totally useless in a venue like Drumsheds. Completely inaccurate and drains your battery, not ideal

### 2/5 — Good concept but Drains battery rapidly!

*2024-03-17, version 0.8.8*

I love the concept of this app, me and my friends all downloaded it and off to drumsheds we went. Before I even got in to a situation where I could use the app to find my friends my battery had gone from 90% to 10% in about an hour and then when I did want to find them my phone was dead. I think there needs to be some sort of clean indication that this will drain your battery at a rapid rate as having a dead phone when I leave an event and have to get across London left me in a less then desirable situation and has put me off the app.
