## What is WYD?

When is the last time you spoke to everyone you care about in a single day?

You probably can’t remember because our current methods of communication are not built for it. 

iMessage seems too direct and it would not make sense to individually text every single person you care about as you are forcing that person to engage in a conversation with you when you don’t know if they want to have it in the first place. 

Current forms of social media seem too broad and the simple ways we used to communicate with each other are not how they are used anymore. A barrage of suggested content, influencers, and advertisements distract the original intent of these social media apps. 

However, behold WYD! The old social media experience has returned where you can freely post the casual thoughts, feelings, and activities you experience every day as a way to keep up with each other in a low-stakes environment.

You add all of your favorite people as your friends and each time you make a post, your update gets shared to them in a chronologically based feed - no algorithms!

In this way, connecting with your favorite people has never been easier or more efficient! The importance of seeing a simple update from your favorite people has been overlooked in recent years as people have fallen victim to posting once every couple months projecting an idealized version of themselves.

In reality, your favorite people want to see all 360 degrees of your life, not just the highlights! WYD lowers the barrier for you and your friends to share these moments.

Post what you’re doing (WYD)
    - in form of text, music, photo, video, or location…
Answer the Prompt of the Day
    - every day a prompt is sent out for you and your friends to have debates and conversations around (i.e. If you could, would you have a personal trainer, personal chef, housekeeper, or personal glam squad?)
Check in on your friends
    - nudge your friends who you specifically want to hear from so you never stay too far out of touch!

I keep trying to sign up, but for some reason each time I enter my phone number and enter the code. An error message pops up “invalid code” it’s disappointing since I really want to give this app a try.
