The only downside with the app is that I wasn’t able to use the special promo adds in app for Wyndham (such as the Summer one, for two free nights) without calling and being in-rolled through agent. Another note worthy thing related is after speaking with agent they had another promo which I was transferred and purchased a vacation package that had amazing perks which one could not avoid, but the app or the website does not show that transaction or booking when I looked. I wanted to see how many points it took. So I was going through the booking process to find the info. Next thing I know it states reservation confirmed for 30,000 points. I have a Masters degree and work in IT so I was taken back that there was not a review step. I immediately cancelled bc I only wanted to check on how many points. I waited a few weeks and never got my points back. I submitted a reimbursement claim via e mail and was DENIED. Are you kidding me??? HORRIBLE customer service. I come back on here looking for a phone number to call and it is so fascinating but every thing I click works EXCEPT “contact”. So system is designed to keep asking the SAME security question over and OVER even though there is most likely a type error in the answer!! There is more than one question/answer on file but system REFUSES to ask it even after performing a validated password reset! Customer service is not open on weekends and automated password reset service does not give any clue to number format! Do I use 1 area code number or just area code and number? Both ways do not work! It takes multiple attempts for that tab to pop up under “hotel info”. It is not my service connection either. This has been going on for almost 2 years that I have been using this app. I am a diamond member so I use this app quite frequently. It has always been like this. Today was the day.
